Who Gets Voted Off on ‘Survivor’ 49 Tonight 10-15-2025

Another castaway gets voted off on tonight’s episode of “Survivor”. Following last week’s episode where two players went home, this episode showcases the aftermath. The Kele Tribe can’t seem to catch a break on “Survivor” season 49. Following last week’s shocking medical evacuation that forced Jake Latimer out of the game, the tribe entered tonight’s episode—titled “Go Kick Rocks, Bro”—with only two castaways left. But Jeff Probst wasn’t about to let things stay that way for long. A dramatic tribe swap shook up every alliance, leaving castaways scrambling for new footing as the competition took a sharp turn.

Tribal Council & Torch Snuff

Kele and Hina compete for tribe immunity in their newly formed groups. The Kele Tribe wins immunity leaving Hina vulnerable and sent to Tribal Council tonight. Updates to come as strategy unfolds. The vote is between Matt and Jason. Ultimately, Matt receives the majority of votes making him the fifth person voted out of “Survivor” 49.

The Kele Tribe Finally Dissolves After Brutal Losing Streak

After losing every challenge so far, the once-blue Kele Tribe reached its breaking point. Their losses were made even harder after Jake’s tragic medevac last week, when he was bitten by a highly venomous black-banded sea krait in a rare “Survivor” medical emergency. Although Jake’s bite was later confirmed as a “dry bite,” the show’s doctors ultimately pulled him for safety concerns. Thankfully, Jake recovered fully and returned home just in time for the birth of his child—a bittersweet ending to one of the most emotional exits of the season.

With Jake gone, the Kele Tribe was down to only Alex and Sophi at the start of tonight’s episode. Jeff Probst announced that a swap was inevitable, forcing all fourteen remaining players to draw new buffs. The result? The Kele Tribe as fans knew it was officially no more.

New Tribes, New Alliances, and Familiar Chaos

The new tribe divisions brought fresh energy—and chaos—to “Survivor” 49. The Yellow Hina Tribe now includes Rizo, Jawan, Nate, Savanah, Matt, Jason, and Sophi, while the restructured Blue Kele Tribe features Steven, Christina, MC, Sophie, Shannon, Sage, and Alex.

The swap completely shifted living conditions too: the new Hina group enjoys the comforts of their former camp, while the new Kele Tribe finds themselves starting from scratch on the bare beach once occupied by the old Kele. Early scenes showed Alex trying to adapt as Shannon led a group meditation that Steven immediately distrusted, calling her “a shark.” Meanwhile, Sophi and Nate shared emotional conversations about missing their families—showing the human side of “Survivor” beneath the strategy.

Back at camp, Savanah quickly began testing new alliances, feeling out whether Jason and Nate could be trusted. Her radar pinged when she learned that Matt, who had worked in finance before joining the airport staff, might be a strategic threat. The episode underscored that no matter how much the tribes change, the social game never slows down.
