It seems like “The Amazing Race” Season 38 is already serving up chaos and laughs in equal measure by featuring a whole crew of “Big Brother” players. Episode 2 takes the teams to Prague, the gorgeous capital of the Czech Republic, where things get… messy. Tucker Des Lauriers (BB 26) and his brother Eric might have thought they were crushing it, but a little clue box confusion proves that even the most on-top-of-it racers can totally slip.
Yep, you read that right; they actually skipped an entire challenge.
Wrong Clue, Big Surprise
While racing through the streets of Prague, Tucker and Eric grabbed the wrong clue box. Instead of snagging the Detour clue, they got a shortcut straight to the Pit Stop where Phil Keoghan was waiting. Sounds like a dream, right? Except… they never actually found the Detour clue, which means they technically skipped a mandatory challenge. When they check in with Phil, he’s looking unusually solemn. He informs them of the mistake and immediately sends them back out. Oof.
That “we got this” energy? Quickly replaced with “oh no, what now?”
Getting Back on Track
Determined not to let the mishap crush their momentum, Tucker and Eric head back to the correct clue box. The Detour? They choose the memory challenge. And honestly, it seems like this is exactly the kind of thing they can slay. They dive in, matching sequences and symbols with focus and teamwork that makes you go, “Yep, these guys are pros.”
What could have been a total disaster ends up being a mini victory; proof that a little flexibility and some quick thinking go a long way on “The Amazing Race.”
Check-In & Forward Momentum
After completing the memory challenge, the brothers sprint back to the Pit Stop. They check in as team number four, turning a potential disaster into a feel-good comeback. It seems like Prague isn’t done testing the teams yet, but so far Tucker and Eric are showing they can roll with the punches, stay focused, and even make a misstep look like a win. We’re here for it.
It seems like the rest of Season 38 is going to be full of surprises, and honestly, this episode proves that on “The Amazing Race,” it’s not just about speed… it’s about smart moves, adaptability, and keeping your sense of humor when things go sideways.
