Fans Show Support After ‘Bachelorette’ Star Says She’s ‘Shattered’ by Family Loss

Bachelor Nation is rallying around “The Bachelorette” season 6 star Ali Fedotowsky-Manno and her family after she shared the news that their beloved dog, Owen, has passed away.

At the start of 2025, Fedotowsky-Manno revealed on Instagram that Owen had suffered multiple seizures and was later diagnosed with a brain tumor. The family chose to pursue radiation treatment, which ultimately gave their pooch more time than he would have otherwise. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Owen later passed away, leaving the family heartbroken as they mourned the loss of a cherished member of their household.

Ali Fedotowsky-Manno Shares Heartbreaking News of the Passing of Her Beloved Dog, Owen

The Fedotowsky-Manno family is grieving the loss of their beloved dog, Owen. Former “The Bachelorette” lead Ali Fedotowsky-Manno, who had kept her Instagram followers closely updated after revealing Owen’s brain tumor diagnosis in March 2025, shared the devastating news of his passing in early January.

Sharing a black-and-white photo of Owen, the former reality star wrote, “We said goodbye to our sweet boy today. We’re too shattered to say more right now. We love you so much, Owen. We will never be the same without you.”

Following her post, she shared sweet images of her family surrounding Owen. In her caption, Fedotowsky-Manno heartbreakingly shared the overwhelming grief she’s experiencing following Owen’s passing, describing the pain as “unbearable.”

“This was in my drafts. I wrote this (and chose the song) last week and forgot to post it. This pain is unbearable. If you’ve experienced this kind of loss, how did you survive it? I can’t function. I can’t stop sobbing or replaying all the moments where I should have made more time for him over the last month. I am completely gutted. I’ve never known pain like this. How do you move through it?” She wrote.

Back in March 2025, Fedotowsky-Manno revealed to her Instagram followers that Owen had a “very large brain tumor” and “swelling in his brain” after he was experiencing several seizures. That same month, she shared that Owen had undergone five radiation treatments and was slowly progressing.

Sharing a photo of Owen wearing a graduation cap and bandana that read “Rad Grad,” the “Bachelor” alum wrote, “He did it! Cancer (soft tissue sarcoma) removal on his leg, a MRI, a CT scan, and 5 Stereotactic radiation treatments! I’m so proud of him and SO relieved to be done with the treatment.”
