As Hallmark fans prepare for Lori Loughlin to return to “When Calls the Heart,” they can indulge in a new “Garage Sale Mysteries” movie, which stars the “Full House” alum.
Premiering Saturday, September 19, at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. Central) and streaming the next day on Hallmark+, you’ll surely be more than a little excited to check out the new story after seeing the preview for “Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage.”
Of course, you might also want to rewatch the previous stories in the series (or watch them for the first time if they’re new to you). That includes the very first movie, which we happen to have for you below!
Jennifer Faces Burglaries & Murder In the First Must-See Movie
Originally airing in 2013, the first installment of the “Garage Sale Mysteries” movies, which can now be found on the Hallmark+ YouTube channel (and above), introduced fans to the story’s main character, Jennifer Shannon (Loughlin), who “loves scouring garage sales to look for items to sell in her resell shop,” according to Hallmark+. However, she soon “realizes a series of burglaries and a friend’s murder may have a connection to the sales.”
As the story progresses, we find that Jennifer teams up with Detective Adam Iverson (Andrew Dunbar), while under the assumption that the burglaries are being committed by people who also attend garage sales. Things then take a fatal turn when Jennifer’s friend is found dead, and she “suspects that the death may be related to the burglaries,” Hallmark Mystery explains.
As Jennifer gets closer to the truth, she also finds herself in more dangerous situations. But she doesn’t let that deter her, and instead, uses her skills to tackle the crimes head on. But can she solve this mystery? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out for yourself!
