‘Mormon Wives’ Cast Supports Taylor Frankie Paul After ‘Bachelorette’ Cancellation

Taylor Frankie Paul is receiving support from those closest to her as she navigates a difficult moment following the cancellation of her season of “The Bachelorette.” The reality star, who also appears on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” has reportedly been in contact with some of her castmates, who are checking in on her well-being as the situation continues to unfold.

According to Us Weekly, several of the women have reached out privately to offer support. “A lot of the girls have texted her to make sure she is OK. People are concerned about her mental health,” a source shared. While the insider noted that Taylor has not been very responsive, the outreach reflects concern from those within her circle as she deals with the fallout.

Cast Speaks Out While Standing Against Domestic Violence

The support comes amid an ongoing controversy tied to an alleged domestic dispute between Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, which is currently under investigation. A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department confirmed that “allegations have been made in both directions.” The situation escalated when Mortensen requested a restraining order and temporary custody of their 2-year-old son, both of which were granted.

At the same time, some of Taylor’s castmates have publicly addressed the situation, making it clear they do not support domestic violence. Miranda McWhorter shared, “Domestic violence and abuse of any kind is something I take very seriously… I cannot support that kind of behavior,” while Layla Taylor added, “I stand firmly against domestic violence in any form,” emphasizing concern for the children involved.

The controversy gained further attention after a resurfaced 2023 video showed a past incident involving Taylor. In response, a representative for Taylor pushed back, calling it a “desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign” and stating that releasing the footage was “a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior.” Taylor has also said there is “more context” to the situation and maintained that she is “a good mother.”

Support Continues as Uncertainty Surrounds the Future

Following the incident, ABC confirmed the cancellation of Taylor’s season of “The Bachelorette,” which had been set to premiere March 22. Despite the setback, support has continued to come in from both her reality TV circle and beyond.

As previously reported, Doug Mason, the rumored winner of her season, also spoke out publicly. “In light of everything that’s happened, I’m just sending out prayers to Taylor because that was her moment and her moment was blocked,” he shared on Instagram Stories, while encouraging others to “stay positive and show nothing but support for people in need.”

As Taylor continues to navigate the situation, sources say her “Mormon Wives” castmates are also leaning on each other. “This has rocked all of their worlds,” one insider said, adding that while emotions are mixed, “the girls know they can continue without Taylor and want to keep going,” per Us Weekly.

Amid the uncertainty, one message remains consistent from those around her: “People are concerned about her mental health.”
