‘The Bachelorette’ Alum Peter Kraus & Fiancée Hana Ostapchuk Are Expecting Their First Baby

Bachelor Nation fans may remember Peter Kraus from Rachel Lindsay‘s season of “The Bachelorette.” However, he’s now getting ready to take on a new role: dad! Kraus’ fiancée, Hana Ostapchuk, is pregnant with their first child.

On Wednesday, September 24, Ostapchuk hopped onto Instagram to announce the big news. Along with a photo of herself in a swimsuit showing off her baby bump and smiling up at the sun, she also included a video of herself and Kraus holding her belly, him kissing her belly and the pair comparing bellies before laughing together.

“A new chapter, the best chapter 🕊️🤰 One week after our engagement, we got the surprise of our lives,” Ostapchuk wrote along with her post revealing when they found out about their little bundle of joy.

“Gods plans are perfect, and our hearts are full of gratitude,” she added. “Angel baby coming this March!! God is so so so good 💛 #14weeks.”

The Couple Received Plenty of Well Wishes & Congratulations

When Ostapchuk announced her pregnancy on Instagram, many of her friends and followers left comments to congratulate the couple.

“So beyond excited for you!!!! The cutest and biggest blessing! And you look amazing mama 🤍,” one person said in a comment.

Another person wrote, “OMG!!!! Congratulations!! 🤩😍 what a blessing!!”

“This is the best news, Hana,” another excited follower wrote. “You’re going to be a fantastic mama and this lucky child will be so loved. Please keep the (side angle) pics coming 🤣🤗♥️”

“Oh my goodness!!! So happy for you two 🥹🤍 You are going to be an amazing mama. Sending all the love xx,” yet another well-wisher wrote.

Hana Has Opened Up About Their Potential Wedding Plan

Just a few days ago, Ostapchuk talked to Us Weekly about what she wants when it comes to her wedding with Kraus. She explained, “I’ll say that it’s in my mom’s backyard. I think we both knew we wanted to do a little backyard wedding, something intimate.”

“I think when you have the luxury of getting married in your 20s, you sort of romanticize this huge thing. Now that we’re both a little bit older, we don’t need any of that stuff,” she continued. “We’re just gonna do a small wedding around the holidays in my mom’s backyard.”
