“The Bachelor” alum Sydney Hightower — who now goes by Sydney Warner — left season 24 after failing to find love with Peter Weber. While that romance wasn’t meant to be, Sydney ended up marrying professional football player Fred Warner. Now, the pair, who are already parents to son Beau, are expecting their second child and just shared their adorable gender reveal.
In a video shared by Sydney on Instagram on October 17, the couple can be seen with Fred holding Beau. The parents then grab a couple of cupcakes that have been specially prepared for the occasion. When they take a bite of their treats, pink icing is revealed inside, which tells the duo that they’re having a baby girl.
Although Sydney and Fred react with smiles, Fred also lets out an excited yell, which seems to upset little Beau. Or maybe he was just unhappy about not getting a cupcake.
Followers Were Just as Thrilled as the Happy Parents
Sydney’s Instagram followers were clearly happy that she decided to share the gender reveal video. They were also thrilled by the news that a baby girl is on the way.
“Sooo sweet!! She’s going to be BEAUTIFUL!!! 💗🩷💕 congratulations,” one person wrote in the comments.
Another follower left a comment, saying, “a mini syd 😭💖 I can’t handle it !!!”

Sydney & Fred Met Thanks to ‘The Bachelor’
Sydney and Fred may be married and expecting their second child; however, they originally met thanks to “The Bachelor.”
Sydney explained how they first connected while chatting on a 2022 episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast (via People), which was hosted by fellow Bachelor Nation alums Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young.
“He was single and had just lost the Super Bowl, so he was feeling down,” Sydney explained while noting the 49ers’ loss in 2020. “He was hanging out at his house and not leaving his room much. He would watch shows, and while he didn’t watch much of The Bachelor, his family did.”
“His brother’s wife FaceTimed him and told him there was a girl on The Bachelor that was his type and his vibe,” she said. “He thought she was being ridiculous, but he reached out. He waited until I was sent home, and around two weeks later, he found me on Instagram and shot his shot!”
