Mariah Carey is giving fans a rare glimpse into her family life, and her latest post has everyone talking. The singer shared a sweet Easter photo featuring her 14-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, and fans quickly zeroed in on just how much they look like their famous parents.

In the festive snapshot posted to Instagram, Carey posed alongside her children and an Easter bunny, with Monroe and Moroccan each holding plush toys. She kept the caption simple, writing, “Happy Easter! 🐰🩷.” But while the message was short, the reaction was anything but quiet, with fans flooding the comments to point out the striking resemblance between the twins and both Carey and their father, Nick Cannon. One commenter wrote that Moroccan looked like a younger version of Cannon, while Monroe was compared to a young Carey.

The moment offered a rare look at the twins, who Carey tends to keep largely out of the spotlight, making the post even more notable for fans who have followed their growth over the years.

The Easter post also highlighted just how much Monroe and Moroccan have grown. Many fans commented on how quickly time has passed, noting their transformation from young children into teenagers.

According to People, the twins were born in April 2011 and have occasionally appeared alongside their mom at events and performances. They notably joined Carey onstage during her 2024 Christmas concert series, showing early signs of comfort in front of an audience.

Carey has previously spoken about supporting her children’s interests, including the possibility of careers in entertainment. “I think they’re both very talented and smart, and if they want to pursue having a life as an entertainer, then I think they should,” she said in an interview with People.

At the same time, the twins are beginning to show more of their personalities. Moroccan has been known for his playful sense of humor, while Monroe has displayed an interest in music and performance, reflecting elements of both parents.

Carey and Cannon, who divorced in 2016, have maintained a strong co-parenting relationship centered around their children. Per People, Carey has emphasized the importance of balance, saying, “They spend time with him, and they have a good time; they spend time with me, and they have a good time.”

Both parents have also been intentional about keeping Monroe and Moroccan grounded despite their high-profile upbringing. Cannon has said he wants his kids to understand that not every child has the same opportunities, while Carey has shared that she works to ensure they do not feel entitled.

Over the years, the twins have experienced both sides of that balance. They have attended red carpets and major events, but also share relatable moments, including jokingly calling out their mom on social media when they feel she has shared too much.

Now teenagers, Monroe and Moroccan are continuing to grow into their own identities while staying closely connected to their family. As Carey previously shared, “I try to keep them grounded so they don’t think everything is just handed to them.”
