Ozzfest Night gave us new performances on “The Masked Singer” season 14 tonight. Four of these new contestants took the stage during week 8 of “The Masked Singer” 2026. One of those contestants is Eggplant.
When the night comes to an end tonight, after all of the contestants perform and offer even more clues about their celebrity identity, another celebrity will be unmasked. Here’s what we know about Eggplant so far, and who might be singing behind the mask:

Eggplant on ‘The Masked Singer’ Previous Clues
Week 2 Clues: He comes out, and Jenny says he’s a spunky fella. Robin said he moves like Martin Short. For the clues, we see him at a farmer’s market. He said he is the perfect candidate to win “The Masked Singer” because he has five decades of experience in many fields. He said he represents everyone, as we see red swim trunks. “Baywatch,” maybe? The Eggplant said he schmoozes with everyone from Jack Nicholson and Jason Bateman to Clint Eastwood. He said they all endorsed him, as we see a red flashing light. Johnny Knoxville brought out the final clue. Nick had to retrieve it, as the box was filled with those same centipedes. For the clue, it says Broadway.
Week 5 Clues: We see Eggplant at a recording studio. He said life comes at you fast, especially while in the land of opportunity. He said he crashed the recording of “We Are the World.” Eggplant said he got the personal invite from Quincy Jones, as the camera then pans in on a “Life Is Beautiful” sign. He said he was now hanging out with 45 of the biggest names in music. Eggplant has topped the charts himself, but he was still starstruck. Michael Jackson told him he loved his album. We then see Eggplant holding a golf club and coffee.
The eagle is back, and he brings out a big bottle of “Hot 100” sauce. Eggplant said some people have said his success has been hot, hot, hot, and this bottle says it best.
Tonight’s Clues for Eggplant
For his clues, he said Ozzy knew how to rock, but so did he. Back in the day, he lived large from billboard to Broadway. He said he even shared the spotlight with Sharon (Osbourne). He said fame did get to his head, and he got a little wild. Eggplant said he started to date a famous rocker’s girlfriend, as he makes a phone call, and we see “Heart” as the contact. Eggplant says big mistake, as the rocker sent his buddies to talk to him, as they are chasing him with a cheese grater. We then see a wagon wheel. He said nowadays he’s mellowed out, and this veggie is off the market, as they zoom in on the pile of wood.
For his special clue, the crazy train brought a clue that said “Classic Guitar.” Eggplant said he played plenty of these back in the day, and now he has one named after him.
‘The Masked Singer’ Eggplant Guesses
Previous Guesses: For Week 2, Robin guessed Martin Short. Rita guessed Nathan Lane. For Week 5, Ken guessed Billy Joel. Jenny guessed Darryl Hall, and Robin guessed Kenny Loggins.
Tonight’s Guesses: Jenny said from the tone of the voice and that wagon wheel. She thought of REO Speedwagon, and could this be Kevin Cronin? Ken said it’s Rick Springfield. The heart, stealing a rocker’s girlfriend. You know he had Jesse’s girl. Kelly said she had two guesses. Maybe Ricky Sambora, or maybe Alice Cooper.
MAJOR UPDATE: Eggplant was eliminated during tonight’s episode. During the reveal, it was determined Eggplant was Hallmark and “When Calls the Heart” star Jack Wagner.
New episodes of “The Masked Singer” season 14 air on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on FOX. They are available to stream the next day on Hulu.
