Meghan Markle Offers a Rare Glimpse of Her & Prince Harry’s Red-Haired Daughter, Princess Lilibet

Estranged member of the British royal family Meghan Markle has provided her fans with a rare glimpse of daughter Princess Lilibet.

Lilibet was born on June 4, 2021. Her parents have largely kept her away from the spotlight for her near-five years of life to date. Therefore, it was a real treat to see her.

Markle, 44, who shares Lilibet and son Prince Archie (7) with husband Prince Harry, 41, took to her Instagram account to share a photograph of herself and her daughter with her 4.5 million followers.

Meghan Markle Calls Princess Lilibet ‘Mama’s Little Helper’

Meghan Markle, aka Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, posted a single image on Instagram on Saturday, May 16. It showed her and Princess Lilibet together.

In the image — a selfie taken in front of a closet mirror — a smiling Markle stands facing the mirror wearing a pink overcoat. Lilibet is sitting on the floor in front of her, dressed completely in red, facing away from the mirror.

The nature of the mirror selfie means that, while fans can see Markle from the front, they can only see Lilibet from behind.

While the photograph doesn’t reveal much about Lilbet (with Markle choosing to keep her appearance largely private for now), it does reveal her beautiful fiery red hair. Clearly, that’s one genetic trait the four-year-old has inherited from her famously ginger father.

Comments are turned off on the post. However, Markle’s fans and followers of the British royal family are sure to be delighted at the glimpse of the youngster — despite the fact she can only be seen from behind.

Markle Recently Spoke at the 79th World Health Assembly

Meghan Markle’s most recent Instagram post, published on Sunday, May 17, is an over-10-minute-long video of her recent speech at the at the inauguration of the Lost Screen Memorial. The memorial is a tribute to children lost to online harm and a call for coordinated global action to make digital spaces safe by design. The unveiling came ahead of the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA).

The WHA, which is the world’s highest health policy setting body and is composed of health ministers from member states, is scheduled to last until Saturday, May 23.

Markle’s speech, which she delivered at the headquarters of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, was about the impact of online bullying on children.

After thanking those in attendance and the WHO’s director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, she began her speech.

Per Hello, Megan said, “Behind me stands The Lost Screen Memorial. Not statistics, not avatars, not data points. Children. Each name belonged to a child who was loved beyond measure. A child whose laughter once filled a kitchen. Whose shoes once waited by a front door. Whose future once felt limitless.”

She continued, “Now their faces ask the world questions we can no longer avoid. How many more millions of children will be harmed by products that, while innovative, are still designed without sufficient safeguards? When will children be able to enjoy the extraordinary potential of technology without it compromising their wellbeing?”

Markle went on, “Because children today are being shaped by systems designed to capture attention at any cost. Relentless algorithms, exploitative engagement, and endless exposure to harmful content that they are not seeking out.”

The speech was for a truly worth cause and one we commend Meghan Markle for backing. After all, as well as children around the world, she has Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to think about.
