Morgan Wallen Gets Fined Thousands of Dollars for His Grateful Fans

As far as officials in Foxborough, Massachusetts are concerned, Morgan Wallen is the problem.

But die-hard fans would likely disagree.

The season six contestant on “The Voice” thrilled audience members by continuing to sing past the town’s 11:30pm curfew at an August 22 concert on his “I’m the Problem” tour.

And those contraband songs are going to cost him to the tune of thousands!

According to The Boston Herald, Morgan started his final song of the August 22 concert at 11:44p.m. That’s 14 minutes past the town’s 11:30pm noise curfew.

And that adds up to a serious fine.

A Foxborough town spokesperson explained that the fine is assessed at 25 cents per concertgoer in the audience. With 62,820 fans in the audience that night, it adds up to a fine of $15,705 for the violation.

If you break it down by time, each minute that Wallen performed past 11:30p.m. cost the singer almost $1,122.

Morgan Wallen Wraps U.S. Leg of ‘I’m the Problem’ Tour

He may not have gone home- at least not on time- but Morgan Wallen did go big for the final stops of the U.S. leg of his “I’m the Problem” tour.

During his two-night stand in Foxborough, Morgan brought out two hometown legends to walk him to the stage.

On Friday night, the night he ran long and racked up fines, Morgan strutted to the stage with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.

On Saturday night, Morgan was escorted to the stage by former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski even spiked a guitar for the fans.

Morgan Wallen Says ‘Thanks But No Thanks’ to the Grammys

Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” tour has just a few more dates, all in Canada, before he wraps it up.

But while many artists wrapping up summer tours will turn their attention to awards season, especially the Grammys, Morgan won’t be among them.

The “Sand In My Boots” singer has decided not to submit his smash hit “I’m the Problem” album for consideration for a 2026 Grammy, according to Billboard.

The outlet reports that its sources say the decision was “a measured no thank you” to The Recording Academy of the United States.

Despite the fact that “I’m the Problem” remains on Billboard 200 chart for its 11 non-consecutive week, Wallen and his team say they won’t submit the album or any of its 37 songs for Grammy consideration.

And that’s not all.

Billboard says Morgan Wallen’s team won’t put the “Wasted on You” singer forward for other categories like best country solo performance either. But the team isn’t discouraging other songwriters who contributed to the album from making their own submissions.
