Team Snoop 2025: Watch Every Member of Snoop Dogg’s New Team on ‘The Voice’

Snoop Dogg thinks he has what it takes to win “The Voice” for the first time, thanks to the team of talented singers he’s rounded up for season 28. On the final night of Blind Auditions — October 7, 2025, — the legendary rapper finalized his team of 12.

So, who made it onto Team Snoop? Here are details on each artist on his team, along with their audition videos. All 12 singers will move on to the Battle Rounds, starting on October 13.

Team Snoop 2025: Mindy Miller of Damascus, Maryland

Nashville mom Mindy Miller, 35, told “The Voice” producers that making a team would be “absolutely life changing.” The singer-songwriter now lives in Nashville with her family and has released multiple songs.

During the Blind Auditions, Snoop turned within a second of hearing Miller’s version of Lainey Wilson’s “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” McEntire turned, too, only to discover that Snoop had already used his Block on her. Miller’s little boy Leo ran out to give Snoop hug and, on September 30, Miller wrote in an Instagram post that her son adores “Uncle Snoop,” noting, “I ‘m so honored to be working with such an icon who I am so proud to say is a genuinely amazing human being.”

Team Snoop 2025: Ralph Edwards of Fresno, California

Ralph Edwards never gave up! The 30-year-old singer revealed during his Blind Audition that he has watched “The Voice” since it began in 2011 and had auditioned 11 times, noting that “this is the farthest I’ve ever gotten.”

Incredibly, as he sang Journey’s “Lights,” all four coaches hit their buttons and proceeded to fight over him, with Michael Bublé predicting, “Whoever you choose is gonna win ‘The Voice.'” Snoop upped the ante by bringing out his “family” of artists who are signed to his record label, to show Edwards he’s serious about developing artists he loves. That seemed to do the trick because Edwards chose to go with Snoop.

Team Snoop 2025: Yoshihanaa of Atlanta

Yoshihanaa, whose real name is Ashton Beauchesne, is a single mom to Aiden and Aubry. She told “The Voice” producers that her priority has always been working to make sure her kids have what they need. To make it on the show, she said, was a potentially “life-changing opportunity for all of us.” She then belted out Deborah Cox’s “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here.”

Everyone but Bublé turned their chairs, and as soon as the song ended, he joked, “I’d like to change my vote, please!” He then explained that watching Snoop bliss out while listening to her delivery was something he didn’t want to “mess with.”

Team Snoop 2025: Kanard Thomas of Columbus, Georgia

Kanard Thomas proved the power of resilience in his Blind Audition, calling himself “The Comeback King.” Thomas made it through all of the preliminary auditions during season 16 to get onstage for a Blind Audition, but didn’t get any chair turns. However, he was brought back as part of that season’s “Comeback Stage,” was coached by Bebe Rexha, and made it into the Top 24 before being eliminated again.

Convinced he could go even further, Thomas — who’s been working on a cruise ship with his son in tow — returned for season 28 and got two chair turns from Snoop and Niall Horan for his rendition of Babyface’s “Whip Appeal.”

Team Snoop 2025: Lauren Anderson of Oak Park, Illinois

Though Lauren Anderson, 40, now lives in Nashville, the singer-songwriter spent years working as a music therapist for young patients in a Kansas City hospital’s Pediatric Unit, per CanvasRebel. The blues singer told the outlet that in 2018, she spent a month in L.A. preparing to audition for “The Voice” Blind Auditions — only to learn the coaches had filled up their teams before she got to audition.

It’s a good thing she returned in 2025. As Anderson belted out “Midnight Train to Memphis,” Snoop strategically waited until the last second to turn his chair, hoping to keep the other coaches from following his lead and it worked. He told Anderson, “I deserve you and you deserve me!”

Team Snoop 2025: Sadie Dahl of Draper, Utah

Nineteen-year-old Sadie Dahl was accompanied to “The Voice” by her mom and Grandma Linda, who’s a huge fan of the show, even watching the Australian and U.K. versions of the series. She knew her granddaughter had the chops to make it on the show, too — and she did, earning a four-chair turn for her version of Black Pumas’ “Colors.”

McEntire told Dahl she “could definitely win this thing,” and Horan was over the moon about Dahl, even blocking Bublé. But the crooner got back at him by recommending Snoop as the coach Dahl should choose — and, in the end, she did!

Team Snoop 2025: Kenny Iko of Washington D.C.

R&B singer Kenny Iko, 35, was once part of a singing and dancing trio but went solo in 2016, releasing several of his own albums. When he performed “Versace on the Floor” by Bruno Mars, showing off his falsetto, Snoop turned quickly and Horan soon followed.

Snoop told him, “As far as my team is concerned, I don’t have nothing like you. I don’t have nothing look like you, feel like you, sound like you, act like you!” Clearly interested in standing out from the crowd — and with his mom cheering offstage, Iko chose Snoop to be his coach.

Team Snoop 2025: Natalia Albertini of Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Twenty-five-year-old Natalia Albertini was filmed at her family’s party balloon business before her audition, sharing that she’s Italian and Puerto Rican, and born to party. Her rousing rendition of Irene Cara’s “Out Here On My Own” earned a chair turn from Snoop “in one note,” Daly joked, and McEntire turned soon after.

“THIS FEELS LIKE A DREAM,” Albertini wrote when “The Voice” shared her audition on social media. She went with Snoop, who told her “Hearing your vocals, I can hear the R&B and the pop. You was so calm, you was so relaxed, even when you seen me turn the chair, you pointed at me like, ‘Hey, good lookin’ out, but I gotta back to (this).’ I like that, I respect that, like, that’s show-womanship.”

Team Snoop 2025: Toni Lorene of Houston

Toni Lorene, who just turned 29, has made a name for herself as a voiceover artist, playing Cody’s mom in the popular Netflix kids’ show CocoMelon. But what she really wants to be known for is her singing voice — and she’s now well on her way. With her powerful rendition of Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You,” Lorene earned three chair turns from Snoop, McEntire and Horan.

Lorene clearly loved the feedback Snoop gave her, noting that he would make sure to give her “R&B and soul” music that fit her vibe, not just songs she’s capable of singing with her big voice. When it was time to choose a coach, she looked at all three and said, “Sorry, but it’s gonna have to be Uncle Snoop!”

Team Snoop 2025: Emmanuel Rey of Inglewood, California

Emmuanel Rey, a 27-year-old, second grade schoolteacher, told producers that growing up in a rough neighborhood in Inglewood, California, inspired him to become a trusted adult for other kids. He performed his Blind Audition entirely in Spanish, performing “Primera Cita” by Carín León.

Bublé and Snoop battled it out for him, with Bublé giving much of his feedback in Spanish. But Snoop’s background in Inglewood and connection to Latin artists won over León.

Team Snoop 2025: Jerrell Melton of Fayetteville, Georgia

Jerrell Melton, 29, said he’s been a working musician for the last 10 years — from performing at weddings to teaching piano — and said her mom attended “quite literally everything I did.” She lived with a connective tissue disorder for over a decade, but passed in March. Still reeling from that loss, he chose to sing Michael Bolton’s “Go the Distance” in honor of his mom wanting him to go after his dreams.

Melton impressed all of the judges, but only Snoop turned as everyone was growing pickier with their final choices. When McEntire asked how he picked his song, he began to talk about his mom and got choked up. Snoop then ran up to Melton to hug him and said, “I know your pain. You take Mama’s spirit and you put it in your heart. Snoop later said he felt like his mother, who also passed, “connected me with him.”

Team Snoop 2025: Makenzie Phipps of Bluefield, Virginia

With one spot left on his team and the other coaches’ teams filled up, Snoop was very picky about finding the final member of Team Snoop. He listened and passed on several artists, but he knew 23-year-old Makenzie Phipps had something special. She revealed that she started singing at 15, joined a band, and moved with her parents to Nashville, where she works at a doggy daycare to help make ends meet.

Phipps’ audition on “The Voice” was her first time being on the West Coast, and she sang Lainey Wilson’s “4X4XU.” Her parents broke down when they saw Snoop turn his chair, and McEntire told Phipps she’s already got her eye on her to steal down the road. With Phipps, that COMPLETES Team Snoop!
