Fans of TLC’s long-running show “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” are thrilled to see its star, Whitney Way Thore, has found love after years of struggling to find Mr. Right.
In late May 2026, Thore surprised her 1.3 million Instagram followers by posting a series of photos featuring her and her new man, including one of her kissing him on the cheek and another of him giving her a foot massage. Thore made their relationship official by captioning the post, “Hard 🚀 😍” So…who is the mystery man she and her fans are suddenly swooning over?

Thore, 42, has starred in 13 seasons of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” since 2015, sharing intimate details of her life as a single, plus-sized entrepreneur, with a cast of friends and family. Her search for love has been one of the focal points of the show, including her devastation in season eight when she discovered her fiancé, Chase Severino, was expecting a child with a woman he had cheated on Thore with.
Thore later fell for someone during a trip to Paris, only identifying him as the “French Man” on the show, but that long-distance relationship eventually fizzled.
Although Thore didn’t tag her new beau in her Instagram post, he sweetly commented on it twice, writing “2 cutiessss 🤭” and “what a babe oof 🫠,” which led to a few identifying details about him through his Instagram account.
An electronic dance music (EDM) producer who goes by the artist handle Breauski, Jake Beaudoin hails from North Carolina, just like Thore, and spends his days as a “sales development representative” for a payment processing company, according to his LinkedIn account.
In a 2023 interview with MusicTech, which he linked to on his private Instagram account, he shared, “I got into music production in high school. A buddy of mine’s older brother had turntables, and he was really deep into house music, so we would go to my buddy’s house and mess around on his techniques and his brother’s Technics [turntables].”
“Then we started getting really heavily into drum ‘n’ bass in the mid-late 90s,” Beaudoin continued. “It kind of just grew from there. We started buying our own turntables, spinning parties and stuff like that. I’ve been doing music production as a labour of love. It’s not something that can sustain me financially right now, but whenever I can get a chance to be in the studio and work on something I’m excited about, I’ll hop in there and start working on it.”
On June 2, Beaudoin commented on a new Instagram video Thore posted of herself shooting hoops at a park by writing, “This goes so hard.” Thore flirtatiously responded, “You go so hard.”

In the most recent season of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life,” which aired in the late summer of 2025, viewers saw Thore moving into a furnished, two-bedroom rental in Salem, Massachusetts — far from her family and friends in Greensboro, North Carolina. She told Realtor.com in August that she needed a “fresh start” and in a place where she felt “at peace” after multiple failed relationships and the grief of losing her mom, Babs, in late 2022.
But in December, Thore posted that she was “moving to a new place” again. When someone asked on a June 1 photo dump where all her latest pics were taken, Thore replied, “Charlotte.”
Countless fans have also been asking Thore whether a 14th season of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” will air, especially now that she has a budding romance to share. Although TLC has not made any announcements about a new season, Thore teased the possibility in the comment section of a May 24 post.
