Stephen King Pays Multiple Tributes to Late Icon with Classic Chuck Norris Jokes

Following news of Chuck Norris’ death, the critically dubbed “King of Horror” author Stephen King, 78, paid his respects to the late icon by tweeting some of his favorite Chuck Norris jokes.

King took to his X within minutes of the official announcement of Norris’ death, who passed away on Thursday, March 19, TMZ reported.

The “Dreamcatcher” novelist penned three tweets in honor of Norris, whose iron-clad persona led fans to think of some pretty legendary jokes over the years about the martial artist’s unbeatable strength.

“My fave Chuck Norris joke: Chuck doesn’t flush the toilet, he scares the [expletive] out of it,” King tweeted.

“Second fave: When he was born, Chuck Norris drove his mother home from the hospital,” King wrote in a separate post.

“Seriously, I thought he was great. SILENT RAGE scared [expletive] out of my boys…and me,” the author said in his third and final mention of Norris and his remarkable character and physical capabilities.

King’s humorous tweets caused reactions from his fans, who also shared their favorite Chuck Norris jokes by writing them in the author’s comments.

Chuck Norris Passes Away at 86

Norris was 86 years old when he died. At the time of his passing, the “Walker, Texas Ranger” star was in Hawaii. There, the actor was hospitalized before dying within a matter of days, TMZ reported.

His family shared a statement on his Instagram, where they explained how the death of the “Delta Force” actor, who is remembered through his “discipline and kindness,” was sudden. “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” Norris’ family shared.

“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family,” the statement continued. “He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.”
