Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert announced the exciting news that they have welcomed their first child, and with that, the “Dancing With The Stars” host also revealed a sweet tribute for his daughter.
On Jan. 5, Hough posted a photo on his Instagram Stories of a new Capricorn chain, which represents his daughter, who was born on Dec. 29. The close-up image shows Hough wearing the chain, which has a pendant of a horned goat.
“New chain 💕,” he captioned the photo.

The couple shared a black and white photo of little feet embraced by mom and dad’s hands to announce the news on January 5.
“December 29, 2025. Everley Capri Hough 🤍,” he wrote in the caption. “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed.”
Hough’s sister, Julianne Hough, shared a sweet message about her niece, commenting, “Welcome to the world sweet angel Everley.”
The two first announced the news that they were expecting on July 22. “We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small,” Erbert captioned the post. And with that, they shared a video in which the couple holds up ultrasound photos, while the song, “So Small,” by Alexander Jean plays in the background.
