Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert welcomed their first child and are sharing the exciting baby news! Family and fans celebrated the announcement by the “Dancing With the Stars” judge and his wife, who shared the adorable name they chose for their little girl.

On January 5, Hough took to Instagram with the sweet baby announcement, featuring a black and white photo of little feet embraced by mom and dad’s hands.
“December 29, 2025. Everley Capri Hough 🤍,” he wrote in the caption.
Hough added, “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed.”
On July 22, Hough and Erbert took to Instagram to share their exciting pregnancy news with a beautiful announcement video.
“We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small,” Erbert wrote in the caption.
In the video, Hough approaches his wife and they embrace and share a kiss. The camera pulls away to show Erbert draping her arms around Hough’s neck, holding ultrasound photos in her hand that unfold to reveal pics of their baby. The couple continues hugging and smiling.
The song “So Small,” by Alexander Jean (music duo Mark Ballas and BC Jean) plays during the video. Ballas and his wife noted in 2023, “We wrote this song about the anticipation & overwhelming excitement of becoming a parent … if you are a parent or about to be this song is for you.”
