When an actor’s kids reach a certain age, fans begin to ask themselves if their kids have ever tuned in to watch their movies and TV shows. For Hallmark alum Tia Mowry, it seems like her kids Cree, 14, and Cairo, 7, who she shares with ex-husband Cory Hardrict, not only know their mom’s work, but could nail a test on her career too.
In a recent video on Instagram, Mowry put her kids to the test in a quiz she called “Name That Mommy Role.” In the video, not only do Cree and Cairo show off their knowledge, but followers catch a glimpse of their hilarious family dynamic.
Tia Mowry Quizzed Her Kids on Her Career
Starting off the video with an easy one, Cree and Cairo guessed “Sister, Sister” in a photo of their mom with her twin, Tamera Mowry. When asked who is who, Cairo got it wrong, but Cree got it right away.
“This is mom, that’s auntie,” he said. “Easy work, c’mon fellas.”
Their next photo was from the five-season sitcom “Family Reunion.” “Cree actually was on the show,” Mowry said like a true proud mom. “It was his first acting role.”
In the next picture, Cree and Cairo were stumped with a picture of their mom and aunt in 2002’s “The Hot Chick.”
Once again, Cree could easily tell between them. “You know how I tell y’all apart? There’s that mole right there,” he said, pointing to his aunt’s face. “And ’cause look, I have a potato head and you also have a potato head.”
As it turns out, Mowry totally agrees. “Cree, you actually look like mommy here,” she said. “He has my face!”
In the next image, Mowry is once again joined by her twin and their brother, Tahj Mowry. “So the movie is called “Seventeen Again” and we were actually 21 when we shot this movie,” Mowry said after her kids couldn’t guess it.
Tia Mowry and Her Son Are Hilarious Together
GettyIn the last few guesses, the video showed just how funny Mowry and her oldest are together.
One of the last photos was Mowry in the 2013 film “Baggage Claim.” After her kids couldn’t get it, Mowry shared what was happening to her character in the scene. “Mommy caught him cheating on me,” she said of Trey Songz’s character.
“You killed him?” Cree hilarious responded. After laughing, Mowry responded, “I didn’t kill him Cree!”
In the next photo, Mowry showed off her banter with her son again when a picture of “The Game” came up. “I was pregnant with you in this scene!” she told her son.
“Have you heard people on the street call mom ‘Med School’?” Mowry asked him, to which he hilariously responded, “Mom, I’ve never heard that in my life.”
In the last slide, Cairo correctly guessed “Twitches” and shared a sweet dance with her mom.
At the end of the video, Cree, in typically teen behavior, shows off that he guessed more movies and TV shows that his younger sister. “I won!” he exclaimed at the end.
“Just a little family fun and a reminder that my kids know me as mom first… everything else second 😂🤎,” Mowry wrote in the caption.
