Season 16 of “The Real Housewives of New York City” has been in the works for several months. Now, Bravo has made an official cast announcement, stating that Carole Radziwill will be returning to RHONY nearly eight years after she departed. Update: Bravo has now confirmed the full cast.
The official Bravo Instagram account posted the news on March 2. Per the caption, “In the marathon of life, loyalty is everything. And because of Bravo fans’ loyalty, Carole Radziwill is returning to #RHONY as a friend-of for Season 16!!!”
The announcement comes after Radziwill has been spotted publicly with RHONY star Erin Lichy. According to Variety, filming will begin this week. The rest of the RHONY cast will include Lichy, Sai De Silva, and Jessel Taank. Newbies will include Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammons, and Daisy Toye.
Carole Radziwill Appeared at BravoCon 2025
GettyRadziwill appeared on seasons five through 10 of “The Real Housewives of New York City.” Sadly, she and Andy Cohen later had a falling-out and didn’t reunite until 2025. After that, the former RHONY star sat on a panel at BravoCon 2025 alongside several other current and former Bravo stars.
Per PEOPLE, Radziwill said at the convention, “I thought when I left eight years ago, I could go quietly into the night. I might not have a lot in common with all the women, but with some, I’ve met them for the first time tonight. But there’s a sisterhood on the stage. It’s really powerful.”
Her stint at BravoCon came after she surprised fans by appearing on “Watch What Happens Live” in October 2025.
Andy Cohen Gave A RHONY Update at BravoCon
Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of New York City” concluded in January 2025. Since then, Radziwill’s casting as a friend of the show is the only official news. However, per Deadline, Cohen gave a brief update amid BravoCon 2025.
He first responded to claims that RHONY season 16 would be a matchup of OG stars and ladies from the rebook. Cohen said, “I don’t know where that came from.” Regarding when production could begin, he stated, “We’re close.”
Regarding the legacy RHONY cast, he said the network is still open to working with many of them. According to him, “I think we’ll always be in business with the OGs from RHONY. I think you see Luann pop up on a lot of shows. Dorinda has a show on Radio Andy. They’re always going to be part of the Bravo family.”
It’s unclear when RHONY season 16 will premiere or if any other former stars will return.
