Another week of live shows on “America’s Got Talent” season 20 tonight on NBC. We get to see the third set of 11 acts perform for the “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Melanie “Mel B” Brown — and for America’s votes for the third time this season.
Voting Is Open on ‘America’s Got Talent’
America gets another chance on “America’s Got Talent” season 20 tonight to vote for their favorite acts from the Top 44. Fans of the show can vote two different ways for their favorite acts: online or via mobile app.
Voting for “America’s Got Talent” starts when the live shows begin on Tuesdays, which is at 8 p.m. ET. Voting will close at 7 a.m. ET on Wednesday mornings. Terry Crews will then share the results on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET.
The Golden Buzzer Reveal
After a look back at highlights from last week’s show, we get a sneak peek at the acts performing tonight. The judges are in place, and time to get started.
For tonight, the Live Golden Buzzer belongs to Simon Cowell!
Jacqueline & Wagner
They are rollerskaters, but with danger worked into their act. To be completely honest, as much as Jacqueline is getting whipped around on those ropes, how can she stand up and rollerskate also?
This is high energy and lots of twists and turns. It’s super dangerous, too, as they are just up there holding each other. At one point, she pulls her hair up in a ponytail, and he grabs it, and that is what he holds onto as he whips her around in the air! This is intense, and I enjoyed it.
Judges’ Feedback: Mel B said it went brilliantly. Simon said that it was honestly sensational. Howie said this is the most we have seen, step it up. Sofia said they took it to another level tonight, and it was amazing.
Austin Brown on ‘America’s Got Talent’
He was in a successful a cappella group for over 10 years. Austin wanted to do more than that, so he quit. People doubted him, but here he is. During his audition, he got a no after his first audition. He came back three days later and got a yes that time.
Austin is singing an original song tonight on “America’s Got Talent” 2025. The fire is strong on that stage tonight, huh? He has a strong country voice. The song has some catchy moments to it. He is having fun up there, and I enjoy seeing that.
Judges’ Feedback: Mel B said that it was a vibe and she really enjoyed it. Sofia said tonight was better than the audition, and he has such a stage presence. Howie said he is one of the most talented singers they’ve had on this show, but he doesn’t know if country is the best genre for his voice. Simon said for me, it was too over-the-top, and he didn’t like it.
Maceo Harrison
As a kid, he was a daredevil. He had a lot of energy and was jumping off everything. He is a member of the Savannah Bananas.
Maceo comes out and performs to “Chandelier” by Sia. He does some fancy moves and jumps backstage before making his way to the stage. How does he enter the stage? Swinging on a chandelier! For me, that just won the night. How amazing was that move on “America’s Got Talent” season 20?
Judges’ Feedback: Howie said . Simon said that was so brilliant, the chandelier. Sofia said that being a solo dancer is so difficult, but he makes it so fun, and they can see his personality while he’s doing it. Mel B said she doesn’t know what he’s going to do next, and he’s full of energy.
Benn Family Band on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 20
This family lost 200 homes in the Los Angeles fires. The emotions came out big time during their audition on “America’s Got Talent” 2025, but can they continue that tonight?
They sing “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz. They can harmonize well together. It definitely had a slow start, and they lost me a little at the beginning. However, they hit some big notes, and it kicks in more towards the end, and that helped them.
Judges’ Feedback: Sofia said that it was so beautiful and so moving. Howie said the story is the act, and he can feel their broken hearts when they sing. Mel B said she loves them and adores them, but the arrangement and the way they did their harmonies; they are so much better than that. Simon said it was real, strong, beautiful.
Messoudi Brothers
This was one of Mel B’s Golden Buzzer acts during the auditions. They started juggling when they were young. It just naturally came up that they will undress and redress during their performance. They say they are going to make their performance tonight as hard as possible.
The brothers start the night blindfolded and juggling sticks lit on fire. Then the clothes come up and they climb the steps while juggling and putting layers of clothes back on. They are definitely fun to look at, and it’s kind of wild how they can do this all at the same time, as the juggling never stops for them! I will say, this seemed like a longer performance than the other acts tonight.
Judges’ Feedback: Mel B said they did step it up a level, and that was brilliant. Howie said he loved that act and they were worthy of the Golden Buzzer, but it’s the same act going up steps. Simon said they did literally step it up, and it’s harder doing this live. Sofia said they make juggling exciting, sexy, and fun.
Micah Palace
He has had two loves since being a kid: soccer and music. He wanted to continue playing, but he couldn’t, and music is now his mission. His audition blew up and went viral, so now he is trying to make that soccer anthem with his performance tonight on “America’s Got Talent” 2025.
He is a very good-looking guy, so that appeal is working for him. Micah is going to get support based on just that. However, I wasn’t feeling this song. He had the crowd involved with the performance, and it was high energy, but I was not overly impressed.
Judges’ Feedback: Howie said he checks so many boxes, and he thinks people will like it. Sofia said he is amazing, and the song is great, and this would work for the World Cup. Mel B said he has great energy, and she does get it, but doesn’t get it. Simon said he does get it, and he really likes him, and it was such a clever song. In a shocker, Simon is in love, and he hits the Golden Buzzer for him. Micah is going to the Finals on “AGT” season 20!
Mastermind
This is a magic act, but with AI (artificial intelligence) worked into the act. The act starts with him saying that we communicate in emojis. He then brings out a deck of cards that has different emojis on each card.
He uses an audience member, AI, and phones to make the magic trick. It is shocking and a good trick, and it works technology into it, so kind of cool that way.
Judges’ Feedback: Sofia said it was so magical and unexpected. It’s a different kind of magic, and she really likes it. Mel B said she is so confused, but thinks she gets it. Howie said magic wins here, and that was the most amazing magic act. Simon said he got confused at the end.
Girish & The Chronicles
They are a rock and roll band from India. This is not normal for their culture, but here they are ready to perform on the “America’s Got Talent” stage.
They are a good rock and roll band. They have a good sound to them. Are they amazing? The one note was, but I feel nothing big and showstopping about them.
Judges’ Feedback: Howie said they brought it, and that was his favorite act of the night. Sofia said they are spectacular. They look and sound great. Mel B said the vocals were sometimes a bit off, but the production was hotter than hot. Simon said it was fun, and a band like them can live on forever.
Anna Saranina on ‘America’s Got Talent’ 2025
Anna performed on “AGT” before with Deadly Game. However, at that time, she knew she would never perform again. She has since gotten divorced, and she has taught herself new tricks, and she wants to show her daughter her power.
She starts blindfolded and then shoots across the stage at a rose and hits the bullseye. There was a lot of buildup and kind of slow, but it ended with a big trick.
Judges’ Feedback: Sofia said that it was awesome and so much better than the audition. Simon said big, big, big step up. Mel B said she loves her energy, strength, and story. Howie said everything she does is amazing and magical. It’s a long time setting it up, though.
Chris Turner
He grew up in Manchester and was a big nerd. Now, here he is, a freestyle rapper. It was Eminem who inspired him. He asked America to give suggestions for what the rap should be about tonight. The judges then each pick one of the suggestions.
The four suggestions for the rap tonight: Terry Crews in “White Chicks,” mushy peas, vegetable cream cheese, and if you’re going to buy some plums, make sure they’re ripe. It’s kind of amazing how he can take these words and just turn them into a rap. It’s entertaining and fun to see.
Judges’ Feedback: Mel B said that it was lit and on it and improvisation to the max, and he is incredible. Howie said it’s amazing, and that’s really off the top of his head. Sofia said he is so clever, and it seems so effortless. Simon said he is smart, funny, and it’s unique.
Jessica Sanchez on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 20
Jessica was one of Sofia’s Golden Buzzers during the auditions. She performed on season 1 at 10 years old, and now she is back for season 20, and she is pregnant. She is currently eight months pregnant. Jessica said she is back to finish what she started 20 years ago.
She sings “Ordinary” by Alex Warren, and it’s a powerful performance. Jessica has such a strong and powerful voice. She has such control of her voice, but can get deep, and it comes from her gut to sing some of those notes.
Judges’ Feedback: Sofia said that it was amazing, and America is loving her. Simon said he is blown away, and she has such an amazing tone and amazing glow about her. Mel B said she has never sounded better. Howie said when she hit those big notes, he was worried about this production turning into a reproduction.
