We have Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night on “American Idol” season 24 this week, but there won’t be any rocking or rolling for two of these singers. The Top 11 on “American Idol” 2026 were determined when Ryan Seacrest delivered the results at the end of last week’s show. Now, we’ll see two more contestants sent home tonight. Top 12 Performances on ‘American Idol’ 2026
Last week on “American Idol” season 24, the night started with some quick results, which were delayed from the week before. Two artists were sent home before the performances even started.
From there, the Top 12 artists took the stage and performed a song picked for them by the judges, all with a ‘90s theme. Each judge picked a song for the contestants, who then chose which song they would sing from the three choices. Whichever judge had the most singers choose their songs to sing would then decide at the end of the night which singer from the bottom two would be saved.
After seeing some amazing performances throughout the night, it was determined that Lionel Richie was the winner of the judges’ contest. Ryan then delivered the results, with the bottom two singers being Rae and Jesse Findling.
I was shocked to see Rae in the bottom two. I feel she has an amazing voice and is one of the standouts this season. Thankfully, we’ll get to see more of her, as Lionel saved her, which meant Jesse was sent home.
Who Makes the Top 9 on ‘American Idol’
For tonight, the Top 11 will perform live on the show. Tonight’s theme is Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night. Not only will the Top 11 be performing iconic hits from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, but inductees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2026 will be revealed.
After the performances are said and done, the Top 11 will become the Top 9. Yes, another two singers will be eliminated tonight on “American Idol” season 24. Which two will it be?
To be honest, I am still shocked that Rae was in the bottom two. I’m hoping that wakes up some voters, and she is safe tonight.
I’m going to go back to my picks from last week, as they survived the elimination last week. I thought they would go home last week, so I am thinking they might get the boot tonight instead. My picks are Daniel Stallworth and Lucas Leon.
