Carrie Underwood is welcoming two adorable new members to her family — and fans are already obsessed.
The “American Idol” judge shared a glimpse of the newest additions to her farm on Instagram on Monday, March 16, revealing that she and her family recently adopted two orphaned lambs.
Underwood’s Cute Post
In the post, Underwood introduced the tiny animals to her followers while explaining how the little ones came into their lives.
“We adopted two little orphan lambs,” she wrote. “We named them Magnolia (Maggie) and Murray.”
The singer also opened up about the early days of caring for the animals, explaining that the lambs are still adjusting to bottle feeding.
“These mornings are so precious,” she continued. “It took a few days for them to willingly take the bottle… I’m still working on him. Trying to be a good mama to these babies!”
The heartwarming update featured photos of the young lambs as Underwood tried to feed them, quickly melting the hearts of fans online.
Underwood later followed up with another playful post featuring additional photos from life on the farm.
In the images, she could be seen feeding one of the lambs with a bottle and posing for a selfie alongside one of her donkeys.
She also used the moment to remind followers about her television appearance, writing in the caption: “Hey kids, ‘ewe’ better not miss @AmericanIdol tonight!”
Underwood Loves Farm Life
Underwood famously launched her career after winning Season 4 of “American Idol” in 2005.
Two decades later, she returned to the show in a new role as a judge, marking a full-circle moment in her career.
Life on the farm has become an important part of the singer’s world outside of music.
Underwood lives on a property outside Nashville with her husband, former NHL player Mike Fisher, and their two sons — Isaiah Michael Fisher, 11, and Jacob Bryan Fisher, 7.
The family already cares for a variety of animals, including sheep, cows, chickens and donkeys.
The singer has often spoken about how meaningful farm life is to her and frequently shares updates on social media.
In addition to the adorable animals on her farm, she also grows produce and previously mentioned in June 2025 that she got into canning.
“Canning is the perfect way to make use of everything and save myself some time later on when I need a quick meal!” she wrote.
