There’s been a small change to Jujutsu Kaisen’s schedule. If you went to Crunchyroll looking for the newest episode at the regular time today (March 12), you might have noticed it wasn’t there. That’s not because we don’t have a new one to day.
It’s simply delayed.
Due to the Daylight Savings time change, the new episodes will now be premiering an hour later.
Episode 57 Premieres at 10 a.m. Pacific Time
Japan doesn’t have Daylight Savings like the U.S., they operate on a single time zone (Japan Standard Time.) This means they’re still dropping the new episodes at the regular time.
In other words, new “Jujutsu Kaisen” episodes from now on will air an hour later in the United States than they used to.
While they used to drop Thusdays at 9 a.m. Pacific, they will now be airing at 10 a.m. Pacific instead. In other time zones, this translates to 11 a.m. Mountain, 12 p.m. Central, and 1 p.m. Eastern.
Check out these press images for the new episode, released by the official website:
After March 12, They Are Only 2 Episodes Left in Cour 1 of Season 3
After Episode 10 airs on March 12, there will only be two episodes left in cour 1 of season 3. The finale airs on March 26.
Here’s the remaining schedule for the anime, according to the anime’s official website:
- Episode 11: March 19 at 10 a.m. Pacific — called “Tokyo no. 1 Colony, Part 5”
- Episode 12: March 26 at 10 a.m. Pacific — called “Sendai Colony”
Crunchyroll’s “Jujutsu Kaisen” English dub episodes are two weeks behind the subs. So these will still air after March 26 until their cour is completed as well.
Some fans think the finale episode will be a longer. However, this is just speculation and is not confirmed.
Unfortunately, we don’t know yet exactly when cour 2 is going to return. Hopefully, MAPPA and Crunchyroll will release that information soon.
Last Week’s Episode Was Phenomenal
Last week’s episode was absolutely phenomenal and a cinematic masterpiece. We review and recap the episode here, if you want to relive it.
Higuruma was an amazing character, and his interactions with Yuji couldn’t have been written or illustrated better. The animation was peak, the storyline was compelling, and I’m honestly still processing the episode a full week later. Last week may not only have been the best episode of the season, but one of the best episodes of the series so far.
