The explosive finale for “Jujutsu Kaisen” season 3 part 1 is almost here! And we’ve got the scoop on what to expect, with an official trailer and official press photos for the last episode in cour 1.
Note: This article has spoilers based on press photos and the official synopsis. This is a manga-spoiler-free article, however.
The Episode Summary Is Here
The episode (which will also be listed as Episode 59 on Crunchyroll) will finally bring us face-to-face with Yuta’s battles in The Culling Game.
At the end of last week’s episode, we got a glimpse into how easily Yuta took out one of the main contenders. But the rest likely won’t be so easy.
On the official website, the episode summary (translated by Google from Japanese) reads: “Yuta Okkotsu. The next most powerful supernatural being in modern times after Satoru Gojo. Upon setting foot in Sendai, Okkotsu brought down Druv Rakudawara, one of the four key figures in the three-way deadlock. As a result, the dormant Black Curse begins to stir. Okkotsu confronts the Black Curse as it attacks ordinary people. Meanwhile, Ryu Ishiryu and Kyoko Uro, also part of the four-way deadlock, watch the scene intently. What will be the outcome of this fierce battle between sorcerers of the past and a special-grade cursed spirit?”

Of course, most exciting of all is the trailer for the finale!
It’s obvious the finale is going to be amazing. I especially love the beginning of the trailer, when Yuta expresses his desire to kill Kenjaku himself so Gojo doesn’t have to kill his best friend twice. I really like how much he cares for his mentor (and how he believes he is powerful enough to do the same thing that everyone thinks only Gojo can accomplish.)
The part where he talks about getting 400 points on his own is also fun. Unlike Yuji, Yuta and Megumi are both OK with getting points from killing.
Don’t forget that the finale is going to be a special extended-length episode!
