The English Dub for ‘Link Click’ Season 3 Premieres in About 2 Weeks
If you’re waiting for the English dubs, the wait is almost over. You’ll only need to spend about two weeks avoiding spoilers online!
A representative from Crunchyroll told EntertainmentNOW that the English dub for season 3 episode 1 will premiere on August 27. Then the English dub for episode 2 will premiere on September 3.
That’s an important distinction to keep in mind. Even though the subs for the first two episodes are both dropping today, the dubs will be a week apart.
Season 3 Will Be an Exciting One, Revealing Important Lore and History
Based on the trailers and the OP and ED videos, season 3 is going to be an exciting one. We’ll be diving more into Lu Guang’s background and his history with Cheng Xiaoshi. And of course, the history behind the key villains that were introduced in the Bridon arc.
And just a note: some viewers refer to the Bridon arc as being season 3. And while it technically was a third season that aired, it was actually a prequel season. But if you haven’t watched it yet, you’ll definitely want to before watching season 3. New characters and storylines were introduced in the Bridon arc that are essential to the new season.
Bilibili, the platform in China that airs “Link Click,” has been dropping videos on YouTube hinting at what’s to come this season. Here’s a trailer for the season 3 episode 1, for example:
And here’s a trailer for all of season 3. Based on the trailer alone, it looks like Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang knew each other as children! But for reasons unknown to us, Cheng Xiaoshi forgot their history.
Bilibili also released the ending song and video on YouTube, and I absolutely love it. Not only is the animation gorgeous, but the storyline it’s telling is compelling. And the music is so fun, I want to listen to it all the time. This is a video you won’t ever be skipping.
They also released the opening video and song. It’s just as beautiful as the ending song, and the animation is top notch as well.
But the opening song is also heartbreaking and harder to watch. It might leave you nervous about what’s going to happen in the new season. But it’s also another animation you’ll never want to skip when each episode airs.
The first two sub episodes premiere on August 13 at 8 p.m. Pacific (10 p.m. Central/11 p.m. Eastern) on Crunchyroll. After that, episodes will be released weekly. The dubs begin on August 27.
