With fewer players remaining and alliances becoming increasingly complicated, Drew now faces a difficult replacement nominee decision that could reshape the game.
Drew Takes Power After Haley’s Elimination
Before Drew became HOH, the houseguests faced a medieval-themed twist featuring returning “Big Brother” legends and a series of competitions.
The twist required players to make choices about saving other houseguests, adding another strategic element to the competition. Drew ultimately chose to save Angela over Melody, while Yash volunteered to compete and successfully earned safety.
By the end of the twist, Haley was eliminated from the game.

One particularly surprising option emerged when Devens volunteered to become the replacement nominee. Armstrong described the move as “wild” and questioned the strategic value of Devens willingly putting himself in danger at this stage of the competition.
Meanwhile, Yash’s Veto victory gives him another week of safety and potentially more influence as the remaining houseguests reconsider where their loyalties lie. His victory also gives him valuable time to rebuild relationships and prepare for whatever power shift comes next in the house.
Zingbot Adds More Tension to the ‘Big Brother 28’ House
Strategy was not the only thing creating tension during Drew’s HOH.
Zingbot arrived to roast the remaining houseguests, with jokes involving Drew, Melody and Devens contributing to conversations and paranoia afterward.
Drew’s earlier decision to save Angela instead of Melody during the twist also affected his relationship with Melody. Armstrong discussed the pair’s increasingly rocky alliance as the house continued separating into different groups.
Elsewhere, Yash and Angela developed a new connection, while Taylor remained Yash’s closest ally.
