“Big Brother 28” entered another unpredictable week after Kamu’s eviction shifted the balance of power and Dee secured the next Head of Household win.
Taran Armstrong and Pooya broke down the latest developments from the “Big Brother 28” live feeds on the Aug. 21 episode of Rob Has a Podcast. The hosts focused on the fallout from Thursday’s eviction, Melody and Mallory’s difficult position between competing groups and what Dee’s HOH victory could mean for the house.
After a week of changing plans, the game now appears ready for another shake-up.
Kamu Is Evicted From the ‘Big Brother 28’ House
Yash entered eviction night as HOH after a complicated week that saw the Diamond Power of Veto completely reshape his original nominations.
Devens ultimately used the Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee, resulting in Kamu joining Angela and Haley on the block. Angela then secured her safety during the Blockbuster competition, leaving the house to decide between Kamu and Haley.
According to Armstrong and Pooya’s RHAP recap, the days leading into the eviction created problems for Melody and Mallory as they weighed which side of the house to support. Their attempts to maintain relationships across the divide instead raised questions about where their true loyalties rested.
Meanwhile, Drew, Barrett, Taylor and other houseguests worked through different vote scenarios as the possibility of a blindside remained in play.
Ultimately, the house evicted Kamu.
His departure removed a strong competitor and opened up new possibilities for players who had been navigating around his relationships in the game.
ParamountDee Wins HOH and Sets Her Sights on Yash
The balance of power shifted again shortly after the eviction when Dee won the HOH competition.
Armstrong and Pooya explained that Dee appears focused on targeting Yash, while Taylor and Lala could also find themselves vulnerable during her reign. The new HOH gives the Icons an opportunity to regain control following a week in which Yash held significant power.
Haley could also become increasingly important.
With Kamu gone and the house divided, both sides have reason to strengthen their relationships with players who aren’t firmly committed to one group. According to the RHAP hosts, Dee is considering how Haley could fit alongside the Icons moving forward.
That could give Haley new room to maneuver after surviving another dangerous eviction.
Dee’s Bribe Power Could Add Another Twist
Dee’s HOH win isn’t the only source of uncertainty.
Her bribe power remains part of the strategic conversation, with Armstrong and Pooya discussing possible ways the advantage could affect future decisions. Exactly how players navigate the power could become important as Dee determines how aggressively she wants to use her new position.
Elsewhere, Taylor is reassessing her relationships with Drew and Barrett, while the aftermath of the previous vote has left Melody and Mallory needing to rebuild trust.
The season has repeatedly rewarded players who adapt quickly, and Dee’s HOH gives the house another chance to redraw its lines.
With Kamu out, Dee in power and several players suddenly searching for firmer footing, the next nominations could reveal whether “Big Brother 28” is settling into two defined sides, or preparing for another round of shifting alliances.
