Kamu’s “Big Brother 28” journey came to an unexpected end after one of the season’s biggest power moves, but the recently evicted houseguest is already looking back at the decisions that changed his game.
Kamu joined Rob Cesternino and Taran Armstrong for RHAP’s Week 6 exit interview, where he discussed his eviction, his trust in Rick Devens and the alliances that shaped his time in the house.
His departure followed Devens’ use of the Diamond Power of Veto, which ultimately landed Kamu on the block and disrupted relationships that had previously given him a comfortable position in the game.
Kamu Reflects on Trusting Rick Devens
One of Kamu’s most consequential relationships involved Devens and Yash.
The three worked together as the Bermuda Triangle, but Kamu’s confidence in that relationship ultimately worked against him. During his RHAP interview, Kamu reflected on conversations with Yash about potentially targeting bigger threats.
Kamu and Yash had considered options involving Barrett or Devens, but their trust in Devens influenced how they approached the week. Devens eventually made the move that put Kamu in danger.
The eviction also changed the outlook for several remaining players. With Dee taking over as the new Head of Household, Cesternino and Armstrong discussed how the Icons have gained ground while players including Yash, Taylor, Haley and Lala face a more uncertain path.
Kamu also offered his thoughts on Haley’s game and what she could potentially accomplish after surviving the week.
ParamountKamu Explains His ‘Tea Party’ Confrontation
Strategy wasn’t the only subject Kamu addressed.
He also looked back at his memorable “tea party” confrontation with Jason. Kamu explained that his motivation came from wanting to clear the air in front of the house rather than allowing unresolved issues to linger.
The conversation offered another example of how personal relationships and gameplay became intertwined during Kamu’s experience.
His relationship with Drew also came up during the interview. Kamu described the shifting dynamics surrounding Drew, whose unpredictable gameplay made it difficult to know how much trust to place in him.
That uncertainty became increasingly important as the house divided and players began reassessing which relationships could carry them deeper into the season.
What’s Next for Kamu After ‘Big Brother 28’?
Despite his eviction, Kamu appeared ready to embrace life outside the “Big Brother” house.
He also reflected on his final moments in the game, including his departing speech and whether his words could leave an impression on the houseguests still competing.
Kamu may not have survived Week 6, but his eviction could have lasting consequences. Devens’ decision removed an important player from the house while forcing the remaining rookies to reconsider their paths forward.
With Dee holding HOH and the Icons strengthening their position, Kamu’s departure leaves Yash and several of his former allies facing an entirely different game.
For Kamu, meanwhile, the exit interview offered an opportunity to unpack the alliances, relationships and pivotal decisions behind a “Big Brother 28” run that ended with one of the season’s boldest twists.
