Who Won the Power of Veto on ‘Big Brother’ 2025 Tonight

The “Big Brother” fandom is already abuzz about tonight. Sunday, August 31, the newest Head of Household, Keanu Soto, locked in his nominations for the week: Mickey Lee, Vince Panaro, and Morgan Pope. And with those three on the block, the tension is already high.

Every glance, whisper, and alliance is under scrutiny as the Power of Veto competition gets ready to begin. With Jury beginning soon, the houseguests are likely scheming to make sure the final votes fall their way. Brace yourselves; this could be a game-changing night.

WARNING: This post contains spoilers for “Big Brother” Season 27, Episode 26 and was updated live as the episode aired.

Picking It Up After The Noms

Morgan is stressing hard. Sitting on the block next to her ride-or-die Vince, she’s convinced she’s the target this week (and she’s right). Mickey, on the other hand, thinks Keanu only tossed her up because she’s too much of a threat to his game.

Meanwhile, Vince admits he’s been playing selfishly; and it’s starting to sound like regret creeping in. He is panicking, lamenting that he didn’t get BB legend Rachel Reilly out when he had the chance and feeling like his game might be over.

Keanu admits he doesn’t actually want Vince to go home. But with Vince’s history (sending their allies packing and making moves that benefit only himself) Keanu’s starting to worry that Vince isn’t playing with his best interests in mind. Tension is building, and the house can feel it.

On the flip side, Ava Pearl and Ashley Hollis have a bathroom dance party celebrating not being nominated, although Ava does point out that she could be a replacement nominee, if someone comes down.

Morgan steps up for a chat with Keanu. He admits he wasn’t sure he could trust her, which is why she ended up on the block in the first place. He also confesses that he’d rather see her go over Vince. In the diary room, Keanu explains his reasoning further: if Morgan stays, he isn’t sure Vince will remain someone he can work with moving forward.

Rachel’s ‘Feel the Burn’ Segment

Rachel is back at it with some cheeky commentary, giving the house her own version of “workout advice” that’s straight out of an ’80s/’90s infomercial. The delivery is over-the-top, dramatic, and totally hilarious. Classic Rachel energy.

More Strategy From The Houseguests

Lauren Domingue chats with Keanu saying she wants Vince to stay in the house. In the diary room, she admits she’s confused, she doesn’t get why someone would put up an ally. But then she remembers literally did the exact same thing earlier in the season.

Mickey and Rachel sneak off to the backyard for a quick whispered heart-to-heart. The topic? Keanu. Both admit they’re not entirely sure they can trust him. We appreciate the captions BB, as an airplane can be heard flying overhead.

Moran and Vince get a little cozier, even though he admits in the diary room that he has a long-time girlfriend at home. Ava thinks they are making things awkward and tells Will and Rachel about walking in on Morgan stroking Vince’s arm to “wake him up.” Also in the diary room, Will says there are “certain things you should not do” if you have a significant other.

Picking POV Competition Players

Lauren is picked first. Then Keanu picks himself, and chooses Kelley. The houseguests are whispering and strategizing. And every glance feels loaded with meaning. The players seem tense, and it’s clear no one’s leaving this week unchanged.

In a private chat, Keanu tries to convince Kelley to pull Vince down if she wins the Veto. But she wonders if that is the best move for her game.

Ashley tells Mickey that this is worst case scenario for them. And in the diary room, Mickey wonders if keeping the noms the same so avoid Rachel going up in her place.

The POV Competition Kicks Off

And look who’s back! Angela Murray from “Big Brother” 26 strolls in to assist with tonight’s POV comp. The nostalgia is strong, and the houseguests are clearly hyped (or terrified) to see her.

The POV competition is officially underway at the “C’est la Vie” Cafe. Angela now running a new CPA (the Charcuterie Protection Agency) to protect her charcuterie from thieves. Houseguests must carefully stack all of Angela’s snacks and drinks without toppling anything.

The catch? Huge Angela faces will swing out an attack at increasing times throughout the comp. Once a player has perfectly stacked their spread, they hit the button to claim the POV win.

It’s part strategy, part balance, and all chaos… and you can already feel the nerves as everyone tries to work with these fancy snack towers. Everyone gets pretty close at different points before having their towers knocked down. Who will get the charcuterie stacked first and win the “Golden Power of Veto?”

And the POV winner is…

Morgan Pope wins the Power of Veto; her first competition win of the season!

Keanu now has to think about who might have to go up next because the most likely scenario is that Morgan will pull herself down off the block. Ashley and Ava discuss how it will probably be one of them going up.

Rachel, Ashley, Will, and Mickey huddle up to strategize. Their logic? Lauren would be the best choice to go up as the replacement nominee. But can they convince Keanu to do it?

Rachel makes lasagna to “butter Keanu up,” as she puts it in the diary room. Then anxiously waits for Keanu and Kelley to finish playing chess. Rachel and Keanu move into the gym to chat and Rachel uses her usual scheming magic, trying to convince Keanu to put up Lauren.

Ashley then takes a turn talking to Keanu, who says with less people there aren’t very many choices. He admits Ashley and Ava are really his only choices. She essentially says if he puts her up she won’t be happy at all and would take it as reason to come for him.

Tensions Run High(er)

Keanu does what he does best: sharing private conversations with the people they were about. He reveals his whole chat with Rachel to both Vince. Yep, Rachel’s plan is out in the open (sort of).

Keanu then hatches a plan to convince Morgan to use the POV on Vince, by promising to put up Lauren. Then double-cross her and put up Ashley. Morgan seems to be considering the idea, which is CRAZY!

Morgan checks in with Rachel (Vince is in the room), trying to gauge what she thinks (as a BB winner) about Keanu’s plan. Morgan isn’t buying it… she really doesn’t trust that Keanu will follow through on what he says.

Rachel suggests Ava to break the tension, but later admits in the diary room that she’s really just trying to save Ashley. Keanu wonders if Rachel should be the replacement nominee because her coming after him for putting Ashley up, if he choses to, could be a possibility.

The Veto Meeting

Of course, Morgan uses the POV on herself, forcing Keanu to pick a replacement nominee. His choice? Ashley. And just like that, the house explodes into the kind of drama you have to see to believe. The verbal fight between Ashley and Keanu is something. And Rachel even jumps in to defend her ally, Ashley.

Keanu is assuming that Rachel will forgive him and that they will need to work together in the future as bigger targets. Ashley, Rachel, and Vince are now targeting Keanu.

Who will win the BB Blockbuster and come off the block? And who will be evicted this week? Only time will tell. As the episode ends, we also get a tease for the return of The Mastermind.

The next episode of “Big Brother” airs tomorrow night at 8:00pm ET on CBS.
