Every season of “Big Brother” comes with shocking blindsides and ruthless votes, but some eliminations sting more than others. These are the houseguests who left viewers yelling at their screens, convinced the game had just lost someone with serious potential. Whether they were strategic thinkers, fan favorites, or walking drama, these contestants were evicted far earlier than they deserved.
Here are five “Big Brother” contestants fans still believe were eliminated way too soon.
1. Brian Hart (Big Brother 10)
CBSBrian Hart didn’t even make it out of Week 1. “Big Brother” 10 was later praised for bold gameplay and iconic personalities.
Brian did get voted out first in his season, but he definitely showed some signs of high-level strategy. However, he also came into the BB house playing too hard and too fast. He came off as a puppet master before alliances were even being solidified.
Brian could have been a strong strategist among a very competitive cast, but instead, he was the first houseguest sent home that season.
2. Jodi Rollins (Big Brother 14)
CBSIf there is one player that is often cited as being the most unfairly eliminated contestant of all time, it has to be Jodi Rollins from “Big Brother” 14. She was part of a night-one twist, which found her team on the losing side of things.
Jodi was a part of Team Dan, so Dan Gheesling had to evict one of the players on his team. He chose Rollins, so she was evicted before she could truly even play the game. Jodi never got a chance to form alliances or even settle into the house.
Fans still debate how differently her “Big Brother” journey could have been without the immediate target placed on her. Her quick elimination is also a cautionary tale regarding how these early twists can be absolutely brutal.
3. Devin Shepherd (Big Brother 16)
CBSWhen looking at Devin Shepherd, you would think he is a beast, and he’s going to win some Head of Household competitions. Yes, he did win one while in the “Big Brother” 16 house, but he was also only in the house for three weeks.
Devin was chaos in human form. While this made for great television, it didn’t make for good gameplay on his part. He was paranoid about everything, which hurt his game and his connection with his own alliance. By the time he was voted out, he had alienated everyone with his paranoia.
Yes, Devin wasn’t a polished player, but he could’ve disrupted the game had he stayed in the house longer and not let his brain and emotions take him down.
4. Kaysar Ridha (Big Brother 6, 7, and 22)
CBSWhile Kaysar Ridha happens to be one of the most beloved players in “Big Brother” history, he also happens to be one of the most repeatedly eliminated too soon.
Kaysar is known for his brains and leadership skills. However, every season he appeared in, he found himself being an early target because people saw him as a threat.
Yes, Kaysar appeared on three different seasons. However, the furthest he ever made it was during BB6, which saw him make it into Week 6. Despite all of that, fans still believe in the right house, Kaysar has the tools needed to win this game.
5. Cameron Heard (Big Brother 19)
CBSCameron Heard took part in “Big Brother” 19, which was the “Summer of Temptations” theme. Kevin Schlehuber immediately took a $25,000 temptation from host Julie Chen.
However, each temptation came with a consequence. For this one, it was release Paul Abrahamian into the house. With Paul being in the house, that meant one of the current houseguests would have to go home. That person ended up being Cameron.
Again, fans argue these aggressive early twists took out a player who could have gone much further.
