Another eviction night is here, and the “Big Brother” house is getting a little smaller as the competition continues.
Yash is the current Head of Household after taking control of the game this week. He nominated Angela, Dee, and Haley for eviction, putting three Houseguests in a tough spot heading into Week 6.
But the nominations didn’t stay exactly where they started. Yash also won the Power of Veto, but the Veto was not used during the ceremony. Instead, Devens activated his Diamond Veto, saving Dee from the block and putting up Kamu to become the replacement nominee.
That means Angela, Haley, and Kamu are now fighting for their “Big Brother” games tonight.
Yep, there is still one more competition standing between the nominees and the live vote. And, let’s be real, the BB Blockbuster winner could completely change tonight’s eviction, especially if Kamu takes the win after Devens used his power to get him on the block.
Honestly, it seems like there are plenty of questions about where the house stands heading into Day 43. And by the end of the night we’ll have an answer as the 6th Houseguest is evicted from the “Big Brother” house.
What Happened During Week 6?
Julie Chen Moonves welcomed us to another episode of “Big Brother,” joking about big moves, secret powers, and the reality TV icons shaking up the game.
Now, let’s go back and see what happened during Week 6.
And speaking of shaking things up, the newest alliance, the Mosh Pit, was officially formed this week. The group brings together members of F.A.P. with the Icons, meaning Angela, Barrett, Dee, Devens, Drew, Mallory, and Melody now seem to be working together in the hopes of controlling the rest of the game.
Following that shocking Veto Meeting, the Houseguests remaining on the block immediately began campaigning for their lives in the game.
Yash seems confident that he has both the power and the people to keep Kamu safe, but he doesn’t realize just how many alliances are already in play around him.
Elsewhere in the BB 28 House
ParamountDee and Kamu sat down to hash out their feelings about Dee being put on the block in the first place. Haley had previously told Kamu that Dee had been making fun of him because of his religion, something Dee strongly denied. It also looked like they had cleared the air about Dee’s vote flip.
But, Kamu clearly isn’t ready to forget the situation. In the Diary Room, he revealed that if he wins HOH next week, a “Survivor” icon will be going home.
So, Kamu already has his sights set on making a major move, but first he has to survive tonight’s eviction.
Meanwhile, Yash also spent some time spilling everyone’s secrets to Mallory and Melody, which raised a pretty big question for him: How did Dee know about the meeting he had with the others?
Then Barrett walked into the room, and suddenly, everything went quiet. Yash, Mallory, and Melody seemed to immediately suspect that Barrett could have been the one who leaked the information to Dee.
Honestly, it’s never a good sign when a room goes completely silent the second someone walks in.
Who Won the ‘BB Blockbuster’ Comp?
Before the live vote, Angela, Haley, and Kamu will compete in the BB Blockbuster for one final chance at safety.
Julie previewed this week’s competition in a joint post with the official “Big Brother” Instagram account, as well as content creators Brandon Edelman and Brooke Schofield.
They captioned the post:
“Who’s ready for tonight’s BB Block Buster?! Which Houseguest do you think can save themselves in this comp? Thanks to Brandon & Brooke for joining the fun! #BB28 🔴🟡👀”
So, what do the nominees actually have to do? In “Space Race” each player will step inside a gravity chamber (a.k.a. a giant wind tunnel) as colored balls begin flying around them. They must successfully get 10 red balls into the red tube and 10 yellow balls into the yellow tube, then hit their buzzer.
But there’s a catch. If a player gets it wrong, they have to open a hatch to release the balls and try again. Yep, this is the last chance for one of the nominees to take control of their own fate before the live vote.
BB Blockbuster Winner: Angela
The ‘Big Brother’ Houseguests Cast Their Week 6 Votes
ParamountWith the BB Blockbuster out of the way, Haley and Kamu are now hoping they did enough to avoid eviction.
Julie explains once again that the two nominees and current HOH Yash cannot vote. That leaves 9 Houseguests casting votes tonight, meaning a nominee only needs 5 votes to be evicted from the house.
Get ready, it’s time to find out where everyone really stands.
The Live Eviction Votes:
- LaLa (LaTrice) votes to evict Haley.
- Devens votes to evict Kamu.
- Taylor votes to evict Kamu.
- Mallory votes to evict Kamu.
- Melody votes to evict Kamu.
- Drew votes to evict Kamu.
- Barrett votes to evict Kamu.
- Angela votes to evict Kamu.
- Dee votes to evict Kamu.
Who Was Evicted From ‘Big Brother’ Season 28 Tonight?
The votes are in, and it’s time for Julie to reveal which Houseguest’s game has come to an end.
Kamu was evicted from “Big Brother” Season 28 by a vote of 8 to 1.
Kamu took a moment to hug everyone goodbye before walking out of the house, and it seemed like he wasn’t holding any grudges over the vote. He then joined Julie for his first interview outside the game.
Julie asked who he thought voted to keep him, and Kamu correctly guessed LaLa. Julie seemed to think he might guess Melody, but Kamu said he figured she would vote with the rest of the house.
Julie then asked about his decision to use Yash to target Dee. Kamu explained, “It was brought to my attention that she was spreading a lot of lies.” He said he thought he could pivot pretty well in the game, but then the Diamond Veto changed everything.
Once Devens activated the power, Kamu said it essentially turned Devens into the HOH in that moment. And yep, Kamu definitely noticed.
Julie also pointed out that Kamu always seemed to have a smile on his face, except when Devens stood up to make his move. Kamu said, “I love the game,” but admitted he was “suspicious” of Devens going into the Veto Meeting.
Even though Kamu wishes it hadn’t happened, he could still recognize that Devens made a good move for his own game.
Looking back on his time in the “Big Brother” house, Kamu said he now has a great appreciation for the players who came before him. After everything he experienced, he called the game “the time of his life.”
Stay tuned…
