Amanda Batula is opening up about life after announcing her split from Kyle Cooke.
One week after the “Summer House” stars confirmed their separation on January 19, Batula shared glimpses of how she’s spending her time, from a snowy-day hair refresh to traveling with friends and speaking publicly alongside Cooke about their evolving relationship.
Here’s what the Bravo star revealed about her new chapter.
‘Summer House’ Star Amanda Batula Shares Snow Day Reset
Batula took to Instagram Stories on Monday, January 26, showing herself cuddling with her dog Ryder during a snow day before heading to an empty salon for a hair appointment with stylist Liz Rim.
In a video, Batula explained why she decided to keep the appointment despite the weather.
“Guys, I am like, low-maintenance girlie. Never gonna cause an issue, never gonna inconvenience you,” she said while running her hands through her hair. “But when I tell you, I made my hairstylist open the salon today so I could keep my hair appointment, so she could put my hair extensions back in because I felt so naked without it.”
Batula added that the two-hour salon visit was worth it.
“It was so worth it,” she shared, noting they spent the time “just giggling.” She also thanked Rim for coming in on the snowy day rather than rescheduling.
“My schedule is so crazy, don’t even try me,” Batula concluded.
Batula also recently spent time with Summer House castmate Ciara Miller, traveling to Palm Beach, Florida, for an Amazon Galentine’s Day event.
She shared photos from the trip on Instagram on Thursday, January 22.
“So many laughs celebrating Galentine’s Day with [Amazon] and my cici,” Batula wrote in the caption. “And SO many good gift ideas for the ladies in your life.”
“FAVORITE GALENTINE,” Miller replied in the comments.
The ‘Summer House’ Stars Open Up About Life After Their Split
Batula and Cooke addressed their separation publicly on Tuesday, January 27, during an interview with Kiki Monique and Dorinda Medley for SiriusXM’s Front Row series.
When asked how they were doing, Batula said simply, “Yeah, we’re good,” before joking, “And that’s it. What’s next?”
Cooke shared that announcing their split together brought a sense of relief.
“I think every step we’ve taken, there’s a little bit like a weight has been lifted,” he said. “Ironically, I think this last week, having kind of pressed ‘post’ together, it was a little more light-hearted.”
Batula added that things feel easier between them now.
“But we’re good. We talk all the time. We’re both traveling. So I’m watching the dogs [Reese and Ryder]. He’s watching the dogs. We’re coparenting the dogs together,” she said. “Still call him if I have questions.”
Cooke shared that Batula recently reached out when her smoke alarm went off, adding, “More than anything, I want her to be happy. I want us both to be happy.”
When Monique suggested they ask Vanderpump Rules alums Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney for advice on co-parenting pets, Cooke joked, “We’re creating our own blueprint.”
Batula and Cooke announced their split in a joint Instagram statement on January 19.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” they wrote. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
“It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” the statement concluded.
