Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper Make Big Announcement

Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper are hitting the road once again. The longtime best friends and co-hosts of CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” announced on Sept. 24 that they’re reviving their AC2 live tour, bringing their signature wit and chemistry to audiences across the country.

Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper Announce AC2 Tour Return

The pair revealed on Instagram that the tour will include a highly anticipated two-night stop in New York City. Fans can catch “AC2: An Intimate Evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen” at the Beacon Theatre on Jan. 23 and 24, 2026.

“Well, this is exciting! I have convinced grandpa over here to go back on the road,” Cohen joked in the announcement video. When asked what the live audience can expect, Cooper quipped: “I think you’ll laugh, you’ll cry … it’s a multi-centric experience.”

Pre-sale tickets are already available with the code “AC2.”

What to Expect From the AC2 Tour

Since debuting in 2015, AC2 has become a fan-favorite event, giving audiences an unscripted and often unfiltered look into the duo’s friendship. The tour has featured stops in major cities across the United States and even drew celebrity cameos along the way.

When the tour first launched, Cooper explained the appeal in an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish: “It’s what it’d be like to hang out with us for a little … It’s all unscripted and unplanned. We want it to be an interactive show, a peek behind the curtain, stuff you won’t see on television.”

Though paused in recent years, Cohen and Cooper revived the event earlier this summer, announcing a November relaunch in Boston. The New York dates now mark one of the biggest highlights of the 2026 run.

The pair’s banter has also created some unforgettable moments, including one performance where, as Cohen recalled, “I think when we were in Seattle on this tour, they ran out of vodka in the place.”

Inside Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper’s Friendship

According to The Daily Dish, Cohen and Cooper’s friendship dates back to the 1990s, when mutual friends attempted to set them up on a blind date. Instead of romance, the two struck up a bond that has lasted decades.

Cohen launched “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in 2009, with Cooper quickly becoming a frequent guest. The news anchor has since appeared on the show nearly two dozen times, with moments ranging from Cohen interviewing Cooper’s late mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, to the now-infamous “gay shark” gag at BravoCon.

Outside of Bravo, millions have watched the pair ring in the new year on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” since 2017, where their mix of heartfelt commentary and playful humor has become a holiday tradition.

Their families are just as close. Cohen’s children, Benjamin, 6, and Lucy, 3, are often seen with Cooper’s sons, Wyatt, 5, and Sebastian, 3. Earlier this year, both families vacationed together at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Florida, with Cohen calling it “the ultimate family vacation.”
