Kim Zolciak is offering an update on her family life and parenting plan as she continues to navigate her separation from Kroy Biermann. The former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star shared insight into their current arrangement and where things stand today.
The Bravo star and Biermann share four children together, in addition to Zolciak’s two daughters from a previous relationship, whom Biermann adopted after their 2011 marriage.
Kim Zolciak Clarifies Parenting Plan and Current Schedule
Zolciak addressed her custody arrangement in a recent Instagram Story, outlining the structure of their current agreement.
“I signed a temporary order at the end of January,” Zolciak wrote. “That order clearly states that both the mother and father are to participate in two counseling sessions per month for two months, followed by one session per month thereafter.”
Zolciak explained that recent work commitments impacted her ability to attend sessions, but confirmed that she is continuing to follow through with the plan.
“My counseling sessions are scheduled and will be completed next week,” she shared.
She also clarified the family’s current schedule, noting that Biermann is currently spending time with the children during a designated period.
“I am scheduled to resume my parenting time when the children return on Friday,” Zolciak added.
“For the avoidance of any doubt, I have not lost custody of my children, nor has there been any modification to the custody arrangement outside of the agreed-upon temporary order.”
The Former RHOA Star Speaks Out and Focuses on Family
Zolciak also addressed recent public attention surrounding her family, emphasizing her commitment to her children and her work.
“These accusations are completely false and nothing more than a deliberate attempt by Kroy to defame my character,” Zolciak said in a statement to People. “I spent five weeks away working on two TV shows to support my family and make sure my children are cared for—something I will never apologize for.”
She continued, “I refuse to be bullied or have lies twisted into a narrative about who I am. I will not stay silent, the truth is on my side, and it will come to light—no matter how hard anyone tries to bury it.”
During an appearance at BravoCon 2025, she shared her perspective.
“I wish that we could co-parent,” Zolciak said. “I don’t have any problem with my ex, Kroy, I don’t have any issues, I never have.”
She continued, “I just want what’s best for my kids, and unfortunately, I’m willing to do whatever it takes, and I’ve tried so many different avenues and different ways that we could co-parent, but it’s impossible.”
Zolciak added, “So I just accepted it a long time ago.”
