‘Stressed’ Kristen Doute Praises ‘Amazing’ Fiancé Amid Daughter’s Illness

“The Valley” star Kristen Doute is opening up about her “stressful” home life amid her daughter Kaia’s illness, praising her fiancé Luke Broderick for how he’s handling the situation.

In an incredibly vulnerable post shared to her Instagram Stories late on Sunday, April 12, the Bravo star got real with her fans about why she’s been struggling while her 11-month-old baby girl battles an unspecified health issue.

Kristen Doute’s Emotional Post

“If I’m not responding to your messages, we have a super sick, wildly teething baby,” Doute shared in her post, along with a photo of herself with her hand on her forehead.

“We were out of town for 2 weeks visiting family and back trying to make life happen,” she continued. “Basically, I’m stressed to the highest degree and also sick. She’s non stop crying with some smile in between and I feel like my world is crashing because I can’t fix it for her.”

She, however, then took a moment to give props to her partner. “Very, very grateful for an amazing dada Luke Broderick,” added Doute.

No other details were available. We wish them a speedy recovery.

Kristen & Luke Give Update on Moving Plans

The health update comes after Kristen and Luke spoke with Bravo’s The Daily Dish about their plans for the future, including whether a move is on the horizon for them. According to the outlet, the two have a place in Los Angeles and own property in Indiana, while Luke owns a home in Colorado.

“We’re renting in the Valley right now,” Kristen said. “So we do not have plans to buy in LA, but instead to save to buy wherever it is that we are gonna put our roots next. But stay renting in LA is the plan right now.”

“I do not want to move again within the city,” added Luke.

“I want to stay in this house until we are ready to buy a place that will be our home for the next 20 years,” he continued. “So I hope we don’t have to move again because we moved a lot initially in our relationship.”

Doute added that, in addition to the Colorado home, Luke owns “70 acres of land” in the state as well.

“And so the house just got doubled in size,” she added. “So we’re excited for that house to be finished and to be able to spend more time out there.”

For now, fans can stay updated on the pair when new episodes of “The Valley” air Wednesdays on Bravo.

  1. I’ve always rooted for Kristen on Vanderpump Rules. She got a bad wrap. From almost everybody on the show. And Scandoval treated her like shit, to say the least. I’m so happy for her and Luke and their daughter. God bless Kristen, Luke and beautiful baby girl. Your definitely a survivor with everything you went through on Vanderpump Rules. Lisa just treated you badly and when everybody turned against you and you got fired from Vanderpump’s Pumps your fans never left you. As much as I started to like Ariana later on on the show. And you and Ariana made amends. I also felt very bad for what Scandoval did to her. But I must say Karma comes for everyone at some point. And what goes around comes around. So Kristen love Luke cause good guys are hard to find. And love your daughter. I will also pray for you little precious princess daughter health. Hang in there and enjoy every second with you daughter cause they grow up in a split second.
God bless you and your little family!!!!!

  2. Dear Rose Arthur,
I agree a thousand % what you commented. I’m so happy for Kristen and Luke. I hope the baby doesn’t have anything serious as Kristen did not elaborate except teething issues.
