Jordyn Woods married New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns in a gorgeous ceremony in Malibu on August 17. But on Saturday, August 29, she took to TikTok to address criticism from fans she had seen online.
This criticism was directed at Jaden Smith, the son of Will Smith and his estranged wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, with comments including “‘Why is Jaden with all of the girls? And at the bridal shower?” and “And helping Karl with his shoes?’”

In the TikTok clip, Woods defended Smith, telling fans he was her best friend and had been since childhood. “Because he’s never missed an important moment in my life,” she wrote. The former reality TV star, who appeared on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and “Life of Kylie,” then shared throwback photos of herself and Smith together, highlighting their close bond.
In the caption, she shared her thoughts again, writing, “So grateful to have the epitome of a day ONE. From diapers to marriage. I can’t wait for his wedding one day but until then!!! He’s never missed a birthday, showing up at my dads funeral and making us all laugh, to now getting married. I’m so lucky I’ve never had to know a life without our friendship.”
Fans showed their support for Woods in the comment section of the post, which has been liked over 370,000 times. “Just proof that boys and girls can truly be friends,” a comment reads. “Jordyn was his sister before willow was born,” another person shared.
