Bravo star Salley Carson is addressing questions about her relationship with Austen Kroll following recent episodes of ‘Southern Charm’ season 11 and multiple public appearances. After sparking dating speculation both on and off screen, Carson and Kroll have shared new details about their current dynamic.
Salley Carson Addresses Austen Romance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’
During the February 11 episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ Salley Carson revealed that she recently met up with Kroll and his family in New York City. The outing followed Kroll’s February 4 appearance on the Bravo late-night show.
Host Andy Cohen commented that Austen’s mother appeared “very much approving” of Carson during her visit to the Clubhouse. Carson confirmed she spent additional time with the family.
“I had lunch with her afterwards … Well, and sister, and Austen,” Carson said.
“That seems fast,” Cohen replied.
Carson also reacted to a moment from ‘Southern Charm’ season 11 in which Austen’s mother shared that she hopes he experiences parenthood one day.
“I loved that conversation because I want kids,” Carson said.
She also made clear that she did not pursue Kroll while he was dating Audrey Pratt.
“I did not make a move on him while he was with Audrey, and I would not have done that, and [Austen] wouldn’t have either. He was very respectful of her,” Carson explained. “I mean, I was saying things to my girlfriends, like, ‘He’s hot; he has a great personality,’ but I would be flattered if someone was saying that about my boyfriend.”
On the ‘Southern Charm After Show,‘ Carson reflected on how she responded to Austen and Audrey’s breakup.
“I’m gonna get the ick watching myself back,” she admitted. “I feel bad when anybody breaks up, but at the same time, I just was, like, in this moment. I was being selfish and thinking about myself, for sure.”
Austen Kroll Responds to Dating Buzz on ‘The Viall Files’
Speculation intensified after Carson and Kroll were spotted on a double date with Madison LeCroy, her husband Brett Randle, and their daughter Teddie on January 9.
Carson previously told Cohen that Kroll has become a constant in her life.
“He’s become one of my closest friends,” she said. “There is not a day where we don’t talk. Like, we were talking in the dressing room.”
She added, “But, we just have very similar personalities. We have a lot of fun together.”
Kroll addressed the rumors directly during a January 7 appearance on the podcast ‘The Viall Files.’
“Salley and I grow close, and we are close now,” Kroll said. “Like, she’s texting me, I’ve been texting her. And we have become close. But no, we’re not dating, anything like that. I really, really like where me and Salley are.”
Kroll also confirmed that viewers will continue to see their evolving friendship unfold on ‘Southern Charm’ season 11.
“You’re going to see all of that because, as we just said, Salley’s not shy about talking about her feelings,” he noted. “So she certainly lays them all out there.”

Interesting Austen’s mother had a discussion with him about having a family. If Austen follows through with Salley it will be a surprise. He is immature. Hope Salley realizes what she is getting into with Austin
