‘Southern Charm’ Star Madison LeCroy Shares Emotional Health Update on Her Baby Girl

Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy shared an update on October 29, four weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Teddi LeCroy Randle.

Madison’s Touching Labor Journey

Madison and her husband Brett Randle expected their daughter to arrive around early August, but she was born approximately six weeks early.

Madison documented her labor journey in an Amazon Live video on July 3, which also captured special moments with their family, including Madison’s 12-year-old son, Hudson, meeting Teddi for the first time.

“I was in labor for 48 hours basically [because] my water broke at home,” LeCroy shared with Us Weekly.

Madison said the doctors tried to put off delivering Teddi as long as possible because it was only 34 weeks. “We kind of prolonged the labor and Brett got here and then we waited another day and had the C-section and there she was five minutes later,” LeCroy said.

Madison explained that it was protocol for premature babies to spend a “few days” in the NICU to ensure they were healthy. Teddi remained at the hospital until mid-July.

“She’s only five pounds, but she’s breathing on her own and hasn’t needed any oxygen or anything like that. She’s kind of a little trooper,” LeCroy told the magazine. “[Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, ‘Oh, I wasn’t shocked at all.'”

The Most Adorable ‘Southern Belle’

Madison has continued to share updates on Teddi on her Instagram.

On August 31, Madison shared a carousel of photos, including Teddi in an adorable outfit perfect for relaxing poolside with her family. “Life is good 🫶,” she wrote in the caption.

One fan gushed in the comment section, “a true baby southern belle 🥰🤍”

Madison shared another Amazon Live video where she gave a tour of Teddi’s nursery. In the video, she was asked, “what’s it like seeing Hudson as a big brother?”

“I have been so emotional seeing these two together that I just couldn’t be happier,” answered Madison.

In a photo posted on September 25, fans got another look at Teddi’s nursery.

Also in September, Madison took Teddi to the iconic Plaza Hotel in NYC.

She referenced the famous book character “Eloise” who lived at the Plaza Hotel. “Raising the next Plaza girl 👑🛎️ … Eloise, meet Teddi,” she wrote in the caption.

The first photo in another carousel post features Madison posing with Teddi in one hand and a cocktail in the other on a gorgeous sunny day.

“A little weekend recap🫶.”

“Our girl had her 4-month appointment today,” Madison wrote in a photo shared on October 29, according to an article written for Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “She’s right on track growing strong and doing just perfect.”

On October 31, she showed off Teddi’s first Halloween costume on Instagram with a hilarious caption that all parents can relate to.

“I feel the same way about dressing up for Halloween, Teddi 🧸😂 #teddybear #firsthalloween,” she wrote, referring to the way Teddi was crying in the photo.

She was dressed in a bear onesie that Madison later revealed Hudson had selected.

In the same article written for The Daily Dish, it was reported that hours before the Halloween post, Madison shared an emotional video from inside Teddi’s nursery, where she reflected on how fast her baby girl has grown.

“I’m sitting here, going through some of Teddi’s clothes, ’cause, obviously, we gotta clean some stuff out,” she began. “But, y’all, I’m having like a meltdown. This is so sad. She was wearing this just three months ago.”

Madison held up a white onesie with ducks on the front.

“My god,” she continued. “Also, the pile that I have to keep is insane. Am I now a hoarder? These are all so sentimental.”
