A Bravo crossover might be brewing in the Midwest. A few weeks after “The McBee Dynasty” star Steven McBee Jr. and “Southern Charm” newcomer Salley Carson exchanged flirty comments on Instagram, the two were spotted together in Missouri. Fans didn’t miss a beat, wondering if this could be the start of Bravo’s next unexpected couple.
Are Salley Carson and Steven McBee More Than Just Friends?
Back on August 31, McBee posted a shirtless boat photo from Fort Lauderdale. Carson quickly made her presence known by leaving a fire emoji in the comments, and Bravo watchers instantly started buzzing.
The attention comes just as McBee opened up about his budding Bravo connections while promoting season 2 of “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys,” which premiered in June.
“Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive. We’ve really enjoyed it,” McBee exclusively told Us Weekly on July 10. He revealed that six different Bravolebrities are planning visits to his family’s Missouri farm. “We have Kristen [Doute] and Luke [Broderick]. We have Brittany Cartwright,” McBee teased, before adding he’s also “trying to get Craig Conover” from “Southern Charm.”
Is Craig Conover the Key to the Next Big Bravo Crossover Couple?
Fast-forward to September 18, when Bravo and Cocktails posted a video of Carson and McBee together at a Missouri event. The kicker? The event was connected to none other than Conover — Carson’s castmate and longtime Bravo figure.
Carson previously had to shoot down romance rumors with Conover after his split from Paige DeSorbo of “Summer House.” Earlier this year, Deux Moi shared an anonymous tip claiming Carson and Conover were spotted at Nobu. “Makes sense,” former “Southern Charm” cast member JT Thomas even commented at the time.
Carson has since cleared the air, telling Decider: “There’s no romance between me and Craig. We’re just really good friends. There were two other people at dinner with us. But we had a great night, and I’m really enjoying getting to know him better.”
For McBee, the timing makes sense. He confirmed earlier this summer that he and Calah Jackson officially split, closing the chapter on their rocky romance from “Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer.” “The door’s closed,” he told BravoTV.com, though he admitted he’s been on “a couple [of] dates” since.
So, is this just Bravo family bonding or the spark of something bigger? Stay tuned…
