A new “Summer House” spinoff may be in development as West Wilson continues to make headlines both on and off screen.
An insider claim shared by Deuxmoi on April 9 suggested Bravo is planning a new series set in the Ozarks, with Wilson expected to play a key role. The new report aligns with comments Wilson made in an April 2025 conversation with Jon Hamm, in which he hinted at the possibility of expanding the franchise to the Lake of the Ozarks.
West Wilson Teases ‘Summer House’ Expansion During Jon Hamm Interview
During his conversation with fellow Missouri native Hamm, Wilson discussed the future of “Summer House” and the potential to expand into new locations and formats.
“So we’re working on, not actually, but I would love it, a ‘Summer House’ in the Ozarks. Do you see that being a possibility for a successful show?” Wilson asked.
“Absolutely,” Hamm, who has family in the area, replied. “I think that would be a very, very fertile ground for storytelling for sure.”
The insider echoed that direction, claiming, “New Summer House filming in the Ozarks starting in the next month- Wes will be the ‘bridge.’ [Four] girls and [four] boys.”
The Deuxmoi source added, “The way it’s described it would be Summer House: Ozarks … Like they tried to do with Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard … And Wes will be to this show as Dolores is to Rhode Island.”
The comparison references Dolores Catania, who helped introduce a new cast during the debut season of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.”
Bravo has not confirmed the reported spinoff.
West Wilson and Amanda Batula Address Relationship
The reported expansion comes as Wilson’s personal life has drawn attention, particularly amid the reveal of his relationship with his “Summer House’ co-star Amanda Batula.
The two confirmed their romance in a joint social media statement on March 31.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” they wrote. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
They added, “We didn’t expect our genuine, longstanding friendship to evolve into something more.”
Batula later addressed fans directly.
“I wanted to come back on and say that I’m truly sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed and hurt,” she wrote on Instagram, adding that she would “be addressing any and all questions honestly and directly” at the reunion.
TMZ reported that Wilson is also expected to attend.
‘Summer House’ Season 10 Continues on Bravo
As speculation about a new series builds, “Summer House” season 10 continues to air on Bravo, with cast dynamics playing out on screen ahead of the upcoming reunion.
The insider claimed the Ozarks project would follow a familiar format with a group of young cast members living together, similar to previous versions of the franchise.
If the report proves accurate, the new series would mark another expansion of the “Summer House” brand following “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” and the upcoming “In the City.”
For now, Bravo has not announced any official plans, but Wilson’s earlier comments and the latest report suggest the franchise could continue to grow.
“Summer House” season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
