Ewan McGregor‘s ex-wife, Eve Mavrakis, has moved on despite still owning the home that she used to share with her former husband. Indeed, the production designer and art director is ready to let someone else live in the abode — if they can afford it.
“Mavrakis, has put [the] former marital mansion [where she lived with McGregor] in Los Angeles on the rental market for $55,000 a month, five years after she was awarded the $6 million property in their … divorce,” according to Realtor.com.
Eve Renovated & Remodeled the Home
Found in Brentwood, Realtor.com explains that “the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion” has been renovated and remodeled, “all of which was conceived by Mavrakis.”
“Done by current owner with great taste, quality, and sensitivity to the magnificent original architecture with breathtaking gardens, lovely courtyard entry with outdoor fireplace, expansive flat yard, great privacy, and exquisite detailing throughout,” the listing description noted, via Realtor.com.
The abode also boasts multiple living spaces like a formal living room, family room, dining room and a cook’s kitchen that features “ample space for entertaining, with a large dining table occupying the center of the room in lieu of a traditional island, while three large windows help to flood the space with natural light,” per Realtor.com.

However, “in 2017, it was revealed that the duo had split after 22 years of marriage, with reports surfacing soon after that McGregor was in a relationship with his former co-star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, to whom he is now married.”
Ewan McGregor & Mary Elizabeth Winstead Recently Sold their California Ranch
GettyMavrakis isn’t the only one making real estate moves. In November 2025, the Daily Mail reported that McGregor had “sold his sprawling Los Angeles home … after moving back to Scotland.”
McGregor and Winstead “officially decamped from their off-grid Topanga ranch, trading California canyons for the Scottish countryside,” according to North Hillcrest. “The couple—who married on the property in 2019—recently sold their 30-acre Los Angeles retreat to attorney Gary Dordick for $6.5 million, after purchasing it in 2018 for $2.7 million.”
“Tucked deep into the mountains above Topanga Canyon, the 1960s-era main house was reimagined into a 3,000-square-foot modernist hideaway suitable for Obi-Wan Kenobi,” North Hillcrest added. “The spread also includes two guest cottages, a detached gym, a car-lover’s garage, and solar power and water systems.”
