Yolanda Hadid & David Foster’s Former Malibu Estate Sells for Record-Breaking Price After Fire — See the Possible New Home!

The Malibu property that was once the home of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Yolanda Hadid and her husband at the time, music producer David Foster, has just sold for a record-breaking price.

Yoland and David’s “former Malibu estate — reduced to a scorched lot in last year’s Palisades Fire — has officially sold for big money,” according to TMZ. “The 3.25-acre ocean view property closed Wednesday for $6.5 million, marking the highest Malibu land sale since the 2025 Palisades wildfire.”

Daniel Milstein, who held the listing with Aaron Kirman of Christie’s International Real Estate, told TMZ that “they’re proud to have represented the transaction and set a new record for the highest-priced land sale in Malibu since the fires — despite a challenging market — adding the deal shows the resilience of Malibu and Los Angeles as buyers continue to see the potential in prime real estate.”

TMZ also notes that “[t]he property had been listed for just under $12 million, offering a rare opportunity to rebuild on a prime stretch of Malibu real estate.”

The Former Home Was ‘a European-Style Villa’

If you’re a fan of “RHOBH,” then you’ll likely be familiar with the home that used to occupy the Malibu property. “Before the fire, the estate was a European-style villa the couple purchased in 2007 for $4.5 million,” TMZ explains. “It later became a well-known backdrop on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ where the Hadid sisters [Gigi and Bella] spent part of their teenage years.”

On the main floor of the home, the Christie’s International Real Estate listing notes that the residents could find “dark oak hardwood floors throughout, indoor/outdoor sliding doors in all principal rooms, [and a] full outdoor covered terrace off [the] family room with wet bar and outdoor fireplace!”

The “[u]pper level feature[d] 4 bedrooms,” per the listing, and an “expansive primary suite with oversized closet rooms facing the Pacific Ocean!” That’s not to mention the “[s]tudy nook overlooking the ocean with built-ins” and “fireplace for cozy sunset evenings in with an oversized walk-out terrace.”

The listing adds that the lower level boasted “extra high ceilings, extra large aquarium, double wine cellar (approx 2000 bottle capacity), 15 (+/-) person theater, full bar with billiard table for entertaining, spa/meditation room with walk-out to outdoor terrace, cold plunge room with steam, dry cedar sauna, dedicated massage room and private nanny suite area with full bathroom en-suite and auxiliary staircase for easy access to main level.”

Outside, the family was able to enjoy a large infinity pool, an Italian-inspired lemon orchard, and parking for more than 20 cars, as well as five indoor parking spaces and two car lifts for supercars.

The New Home Could Be Just as Impressive

While the home that Yolanda and David lived in is no longer there, TMZ notes that the “listing included conceptual renderings from Bowery Design Group, envisioning a massive 14,000-square-foot gated compound with 6 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 14-foot ceilings, and sweeping 270-degree Pacific Ocean views.”

Unsurprisingly, the “[p]lans also called for ultra luxury amenities, including a home theater, spa, gym, game room, and nearly 4,000 square feet of outdoor living space featuring three pools, a bocce court, and a full sports court,” TMZ points out. On top of that, “[t]he property still carries perks like access to La Costa Beach Club and sits close to Malibu hotspots like Nobu, Soho House, and the Malibu Pier.”
