Erika Jayne has been noticeably absent from some recent “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 16 filming, but there’s a reason she hasn’t been alongside her castmates.
While the Beverly Hills ladies have been busy filming the upcoming season, Erika has been busy with another major commitment: performing across the country with Kesha.
The RHOBH star joined Kesha on the Freedom Tour, which wrapped its latest run over the weekend. Erika marked the final night with a series of photos from her time on the road.
“The final night of The Freedom Tour with @kesha!! Thank you for this incredible experience!!! I will cherish it forever,” Erika wrote on Instagram on August 31.
Her touring schedule explains why Erika has been missing from several recent “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” gatherings, including a celebration that brought nearly the entire Season 16 group together.
Erika Jayne Has Been on the Road While RHOBH Films
Erika’s absence became particularly noticeable when the cast gathered to celebrate Rachel Zoe’s 55th birthday in Los Angeles.
Dorit Kemsley, Jennifer Tilly, Kathy Hilton, Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke and Bozoma “Boz” Saint John were all part of the celebration, along with new cast members Tracy Tutor and Leah Remini.
Erika, however, wasn’t there.
Instead, she shared on her Instagram account revealing that she was in Indianapolis for her “last show” as the Freedom Tour came to a close.
And there is already a sign that Erika will be reconnecting with the group soon.
Jennifer Tilly commented “See you soon!” on Erika’s Instagram post, seemingly signaling that her absence from the group won’t last much longer and that she will, in fact, be part of the upcoming season.
Erika has not publicly revealed exactly when she’ll resume filming with her RHOBH castmates.
Season 16 Has Already Taken the Cast Far Beyond Beverly Hills
Rachel’s birthday isn’t the only recent filming event Erika missed.
Several of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” women were also spotted filming together in Ghana, where Boz recently married her partner Keely Watson. Erika was not seen with the group there either after multiple Bravo social media accounts shared content from their trip.
Season 16 has already brought major changes to the Beverly Hills cast. Amanda Frances exited the show after just one season, while Bravo confirmed two high-profile additions earlier this month: “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star Tracy Tutor and actress Leah Remini.
Erika, meanwhile, remains part of the returning group. Her recent absence seems to be a matter of scheduling rather than a sign that she’s stepping away from the show.
With the Freedom Tour now wrapped, all eyes will be on when Erika makes her way back in front of the RHOBH cameras.
With filming well underway, Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 16.
