Dorit Kemsley will have to say goodbye to the Los Angeles home she once shared with estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star has been ordered to move out of the couple’s $7 million mansion as their increasingly complicated divorce continues to play out.
The decision came during a court hearing Wednesday, Aug. 26, after Dorit and PK had reportedly been at odds over the property, its mortgage and who should be responsible for the mounting expenses.
According to TMZ, Dorit has now agreed to sell the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom home, and a judge ordered the property to be put on the market. Dorit must move out by November.
But the sale itself is only part of the agreement. The judge also laid out who will be responsible for the home’s expenses until Dorit leaves and what happens to that money once a buyer takes over the property.
Dorit and PK Kemsley Had Been Fighting Over the Home
The future of the house had become another point of contention between Dorit and PK as they work through their divorce.
During Wednesday’s hearing, PK claimed Dorit had not been paying the mortgage on the property, TMZ reported. Dorit, meanwhile, argued that her estranged husband should be covering the bills and maintained that he had sufficient funds to pay what was owed.
Now, there is a path forward.
Dorit’s legal team reportedly reached an agreement this week to sell the home. She has hired real estate agent Zach Goldsmith, who has appeared on Netflix’s “Buying Beverly Hills,” to handle the listing.
The decision comes after the estranged couple reportedly blamed one another for holding up a potential sale. PK claimed Dorit had been dragging her feet, while Dorit maintained that PK had refused to sign an agreement involving Goldsmith.
The court has since ordered that Goldsmith serve as the listing agent.
PK was also ordered to become a manager of the LLC that owns the property, allowing him to participate in moving the sale forward.
Judge Decides Who Will Pay the Bills Until Dorit Moves
Although Dorit will remain in the house temporarily, the judge divided up the financial responsibilities while the sale process gets underway.
Dorit must pay the property’s utilities, including any past-due utility bills, according to TMZ.
PK, meanwhile, must continue paying the mortgage until Dorit moves out. He is expected to be reimbursed from the proceeds of the eventual sale for those mortgage payments, along with other money he put into the property following the couple’s separation.
The judge reportedly denied PK’s request for sanctions against Dorit.
The latest ruling marks a significant development for the former couple, who announced their separation in May 2024 after nine years of marriage. Dorit later filed for divorce in April 2025.
Their marital troubles have also played out on RHOBH, where Dorit has spoken candidly about the breakdown of their relationship and the uncertainty surrounding her future.
Now, at least one major piece of that future has been decided. The house that once served as the Kemsleys’ family home is headed for the market, and Dorit has been given a deadline to leave it behind.
