Country Star Makes Honest Reveal About His ‘Private’ Relationship with His Famous Partner

Country musician Morgan Evans has opened up about his romantic relationship with Laci Kaye Booth, whom he has been dating for two years. The singer was previously married to Kelsea Ballerini but following their divorce in 2022, he began seeing Booth and the pair have had a largely private romance as they remain out of the limelight.

Morgan Evans Details How They Have Kept Their Relationship Private

Evans and Booth have had a largely private relationship, sharing very few details about their personal lives despite being together for more than two years. In fact, the pair only made their red carpet debut in late 2025, demonstrating that they aren’t seeking attention when it comes to their dating life.

Speaking on “The BobbyCast” with host Bobby Bones, Evans gave some insight about how the couple first got together and why they believe privacy is so important.

“I really care about her, and I’m really grateful for where we’re at right now, too, and I just don’t want to mess with it,” he told Bones. “She is awesome… We just kind of connected on that level and enjoyed each other’s company.”

Referencing his previous marriage to Ballerini, he went on to explain that he now feels more protective of his personal life. Evans said, “I will say, I have learned from my experience with my previous relationship and previous life that there is a level of detail that I think is healthy to share.”

“We’ve been really intentional about sharing what we want to share and also like, keeping what we want to keep to ourselves, too,” he added.

Evans also opened up about how he was aware of Booth through touring. They also recently collaborated on the song “Two Broken Hearts.”

“When she opens her mouth to sing, it is just a gift. I’m so happy for her and the music she’s making,” he said. “I’ve been through it. You gotta learn something from what you go through.”

Kelsea Ballerini Confronts Heckler During Performance

Meanwhile, “The Voice” coach and fellow country star Ballerini, who was married to Evans from 2017 until 2022, also recently made headlines after she stood up to a heckler during a performance in December of last year.

While performing the song “Penthouse” in Sydney, Australia, a member of the audience shouted out “Team Morgan.” This prompted an angry and short response from Ballerini, who replied “[expletive you.”

After the concert, she took to social media to warn fans that she would no longer perform the song if it continued to be interrupted.

“Respectfully, if anyone yells anything disrespectful to anyone during this song again, it will no longer be on the setlist,” she wrote online.
