Hilaria Baldwin is opening up about a frightening moment that briefly disrupted an otherwise joyful family vacation.
The mom of seven took to Instagram on Monday, March 30, to share a series of photos capturing time spent with her family, revealing that her 9-year-old son Leonardo suffered an injury that required a trip to the hospital.
Hilaria Revealed the Scary Moment on Social Media
“I love that my family came to meet me after my work trip. Such a special time to be here together 🤍,” Hilaria wrote. “Trigger warning: Leo split his forehead open and we were well taken care of in the hospital.”
Despite the scare, she made it clear that her son received prompt care and that the family remained grateful throughout the experience.
“So grateful for the kindness and care,” she added. “Other than that, it’s been beach, together, practicing walking like 🦀😂. Memories made. I missed them so much it hurt 💕.”
She shared a trio of image of her son. The first featured him as doctor’s worked on his forehead, the next was of Leonardo sitting in a wheelchair.
The final image showed his forehead covered in a couple of bandages.
Besides the scary incident, Hilaria shared images of her children enjoying time at the beach and making the most of their vacation.
From playful moments in the sand to candid family interactions, the photos highlighted the close bond the family shares.
The former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant and her husband, Alec Baldwin, are parents to seven children: Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 5, María, 4, and Ilaria, 2.
Alec is also father to his adult daughter, Ireland, from a previous relationship.
Even amid the unexpected hospital visit, the family’s trip continued with meaningful moments.
