Former TLC and “Dancing with the Stars” personality Kate Gosselin is asking for support from her fans. She took to her TikTok page to share that she had something medical going on that had her feeling scared.
Gosselin, who competed on season 10 of “Dancing with the Stars” and led “Kate Plus 8” on TLC for several seasons, surprised her followers with the unexpected news.
Fans stepped up amid Gosselin’s worry and fear. One comment read, “Sending love and positive energy! I hope you are okay! You are loved by so many.”
Kate Gosselin Indicated She’ll Be Fine, But She Was Still Scared
Gosselin’s newest TikTok post prompted a big and immediate reaction from her followers. The video she included showed a hand with a pulse oximeter and an IV held over the blanket on a hospital bed.
On the video, there was text that read, “Please pray for me tonight and tomorrow. I will be fine, but I’m scared and would appreciate your prayers! Thanks, guys.”
In the caption, Gosselin added, “Emergencies don’t care about schedules!”
She also noted, “Please DONT worry about me! Please pray [instead].”
Gosselin also wrote, “Don’t worry, story time to follow when I’m able! Love you guys! I’ll be back as soon as I can!”
The sound that Gosselin included in her video is a popular one on social media that seemed to resonate deeply with the former reality star amid her difficult night.
The voice in the audio says, “Hey, just a reminder no one prepared you for what you were going to go through. There was no way you could have been prepared, and you still handled it with grace, and you still did the best that you could. And that is enough.”
It continues, “You’ve survived 100% of your worst days and you are still here. I don’t care if you are alone right now, I don’t care where on that spectrum you are at, you are still here, after ALL of that. I’m so proud of you.”

Gosselin’s TikTok followers flooded the comment section with notes of support.
One fan wrote, “Omg please take care! Glad you’re in a US hospital!”
Another commented, “You are a strong woman who can do hard things! Praying to Jesus for your comfort and healing.”

Update: Gosselin shared a new TikTok video with a brief update. She noted, “I had surgery this morning and have five pain meds on board (top 3 most painful surgery).”
She continued, “I am not in a position to go into the details now but only [because] I can’t focus. I did well. Details coming soon CANNOT thank you enough for all your prayers! Love you guys!”
