DWTS Star to Make Movie Debut With Holiday Rom-Com

Whitney Leavitt is moving beyond reality television as her Hollywood chapter takes a bold new turn. The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star, 32, is stepping into her first-ever feature film as both lead actress and executive producer.

People also obtained the first look at Leavitt in the upcoming holiday romantic comedy “All For Love,” set for release in 2026.

Fresh off her run on season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars,” Leavitt has moved straight into production on the film, a major step in her growing career.

Leavitt Lands Her First Lead Film Role

People reported that “All For Love,” produced by Ninth House Productions, follows Winona, a well-known podcaster, as she navigates modern online dating.

Leavitt stars alongside Jesse Kove, who plays Luke, a rugged renovator and event space owner. The two cross paths in real life when Luke helps restore a venue owned by Winona’s grandmother, and an unexpected romance begins.

First-look images from the film capture the pair growing close beneath strands of Christmas lights, hinting at the story’s cozy, festive tone.

The role marks Leavitt’s first feature film, following years of success across reality television and digital platforms.

From ‘DWTS’ to the Big Screen

Leavitt’s film news arrives shortly after another standout moment in her career. She recently competed on season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars,” where she and partner Mark Ballas earned a perfect score of 40 out of 40 for their Argentine Tango set to “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago.”

Her performance hinted at what was next. Leavitt has long spoken about her passion for acting and musical theater, including her interest in starring in a live-action version of “Anastasia.”

That passion is now translating into major opportunities beyond reality TV.

Broadway Debut in ‘Chicago’ Comes Next

In addition to her film debut, Leavitt is preparing to make her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in “Chicago.”

Her limited engagement begins February 2, 2026, at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City and runs through March 15, 2026. The role places her among a long list of stars who have taken on the iconic character.

The Broadway announcement further cements Leavitt’s transition from reality television star to multi-platform performer.

How Leavitt Built a Career Beyond Reality Television

Leavitt first connected with audiences through her comedic, family-friendly social media content before breaking out on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” which recently wrapped its third season.

Now based in Utah, Leavitt balances life as a wife and mother of three while steadily building her entertainment career.

“I feel like everything that I’ve been manifesting feels more within reach,” Leavitt told People earlier this month. “Like I can see it and it’s there and I’m reaching it and I’m going after it and I’m just so grateful.”

With a holiday film, a Broadway debut, and additional projects ahead, Leavitt continues to expand her work beyond reality television at her own pace.
