Disney Parks has revealed the performers’ lineup for the 2025 “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade,” continuing a decades-long holiday television tradition that brings music, Disney characters, and seasonal spectacle to viewers each Christmas morning.
The annual special will air Dec. 25 on ABC at 10 a.m. Eastern and stream later in the day on Disney+, according to ABC. The broadcast will feature performances filmed across several Disney destinations, including Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, in Hawaii.
The parade marks its 42nd year on television and remains a cornerstone of Disney’s holiday programming, combining celebrity performances with themed floats and appearances from classic Disney characters.
Hosts Return for Another Holiday Broadcast
Alfonso Ribeiro will return as host for the second consecutive year. Ribeiro, who hosts “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and appears on “Dancing with the Stars,” will guide viewers through the festivities from multiple park locations.
Actor Ginnifer Goodwin will join Ribeiro as a co-host. Goodwin previously voiced Judy Hopps in Disney’s “Zootopia” franchise. Disney also confirmed that Maia Kealoha, who stars as Lilo in the upcoming live-action adaptation of “Lilo and Stitch,” will serve as a correspondent during the broadcast.
The hosting trio will introduce musical performances, parade segments, and behind-the-scenes moments throughout the special.
Star-Studded Musical Performances Across Disney Parks
The 2025 performers lineup includes a mix of pop, R&B, and country artists performing holiday classics at iconic Disney locations.
DisneyGwen Stefani will perform “White Christmas” from Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort, while Coco Jones will sing “This Christmas” from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, according to Billboard.
Disney“American Idol” winner Iam Tongi will perform “The Christmas Song” from Aulani in Hawaii.
DisneyCountry group Lady A will perform “Winter Wonderland” from World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT.
DisneyNicole Scherzinger will sing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” from Sleeping Beauty Castle.
DisneyMariah the Scientist will perform “Please Come Home for Christmas” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, using the Tree of Life as her backdrop.
DisneyBebe Rexha will close the musical lineup with a performance of “Last Christmas” from Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park.
The performances were filmed in advance to capture seasonal décor and different park locations.
A Holiday Tradition Continues
The “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” has aired annually since 1983 and has become a staple of Christmas morning television.
Disney said this year’s broadcast aims to highlight the global reach of its parks while celebrating holiday music that appeals to multiple generations.
Viewers can watch the parade live on ABC or stream it later on Disney+ on Christmas Day.
