Gwen Stefani is spending the holiday season balancing performances, family appearances, and time with Blake Shelton. From her upcoming Christmas Day performance for Disney to her sons’ recent appearance at Shelton’s show, several moments have put the singer and her family in the spotlight this month.
Gwen Stefani Will Perform ‘White Christmas’ at Disneyland for ABC Holiday Special
Stefani is set to perform “White Christmas” at Disneyland as part of the 2025 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade. Her performance was filmed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort.
In a promotional clip for the special, Stefani shared that she grew up in Anaheim, which makes performing at Disneyland feel like home.
The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade airs Christmas morning on ABC and will also be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu. The annual broadcast features performances filmed at Disney Parks locations along with parade highlights.
Stefani is one of several artists appearing in this year’s broadcast. Other performers include Coco Jones singing “This Christmas” from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Iam Tongi performing “The Christmas Song” from Aulani in Hawai‘i, Lady A singing “Winter Wonderland” from EPCOT, Nicole Scherzinger performing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” at Disneyland, Mariah the Scientist from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Bebe Rexha singing “Last Christmas” from Magic Kingdom.
Alfonso Ribeiro returns as host for the second year in a row, joined by Ginnifer Goodwin and Maia Kealoha, who reports from the parade route.
Stefani’s Sons Support Blake Shelton at ‘The Road’ Finale
Stefani’s holiday season also included a family moment in Nashville. During the Dec. 21 finale of “The Road,” viewers caught a brief cameo from Stefani’s sons Zuma and Apollo Rossdale, who were in the audience cheering on their stepdad.
Shelton performed his new song “Stay Country or Die Tryin’” during the finale, which was taped at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Zuma and Apollo sang along from the crowd, wearing cowboy hats, flannel, and denim jackets that fit right in with the venue’s country atmosphere.
The performance marked the end of season 1 of “The Road” and the crowning of its first winner. Taylor Sheridan, Shelton’s partner on the show, and Keith Urban were also spotted in the audience. Sheridan gave Shelton a standing ovation following the performance.
Shelton’s stepsons are no strangers to music. Apollo, 11, is the youngest and has not yet performed publicly at “The Voice” judge’s Ole Red venue in Oklahoma. Stefani’s oldest son, Kingston, made his debut there in 2023 with a rock-focused set. Zuma, 17, appears to be leaning toward country music. He has performed multiple times at Ole Red and recently covered John Michael Montgomery’s “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident).”
Shelton has spoken openly about Zuma’s dedication to music. “It’s not me showing him stuff, it’s him showing me stuff,” Shelton said. “It’s almost every single day. I love it. I can’t wait til I get home.”
Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Shut Down Split Rumors During the Holiday Season
The family appearances come amid recent rumors about Stefani and Shelton’s relationship, which surfaced after the couple missed the CMA Awards on Nov. 19. Shelton was nominated for Musical Event of the Year for his collaboration with Post Malone, “Pour Me a Drink.”
Shelton’s representatives denied the rumors, telling Page Six on Nov. 30, “This is a completely made-up story created solely for headlines and clicks.” Multiple sources have since confirmed the couple is doing well.
During a Dec. 4 appearance on “Today,” Stefani shared how the couple spends the holidays splitting time between Oklahoma and Los Angeles.
“Blake and I, we just bounce back and forth between Oklahoma constantly,” Stefani said. “This December, we’re going back there and then we’re gonna bounce back to L.A.”
She added, “It’s been a blessing to be able to do that. Oklahoma, this time of year, is the best. It’s so beautiful.”
