Meryl Streep once again stood out in a striking red coat paired with dark accents and sunglasses, a look that subtly nodded to her iconic character.

Emily Blunt carried the red theme forward in a rich, ruby-toned ensemble, while Anne Hathaway chose a sleek black look that balanced the palette.

Stanley Tucci kept things classic and understated, appearing polished and refined in a way that felt true to the character audiences have long loved.

Hathaway’s look featured a structured velvet gown with a corset-style bodice and high slit, a modern yet timeless choice that hinted at her evolving style.

Blunt, who wore an oversized tulle design at the New York premiere, shifted to a more tailored look in London. She chose a custom peplum top with a dramatic train, paired with matching pants, and completed the outfit with elegant jewelry.

‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’: How the Story Evolves From Then to Now

“The Devil Wears Prada 2” sees Streep’s Miranda Priestly still at the top of Runway magazine, as Andy Sachs (Hathaway) returns as features editor, and they face off against Priestly’s former assistant turned rival Emily Charlton (Blunt).

For Hathaway, 43, it was crucial not to just cash in on the oft-quoted original, which earned Streep an Oscar nomination for best actress for her deceptively nuanced portrayal of a formidable editor-in-chief.

“We talked a lot about how we didn’t want to come back and just make a nostalgic movie in order for us to pick up these characters again,” Hathaway said, as per USA Today.

“The legacy of the first one is still going strong; we didn’t have to do this. We needed a great story, and we needed something that felt urgent and very human.”

In the first “Devil Wears Prada,” the naive and ordinary Andy lands a job at Runway as Miranda’s new assistant, an Anna Wintour-esque boss whose ice-queen persona melts over the course of the film.

Andy quickly gets swept up in the business of high fashion, but fearing she’s lost herself, eventually decides to quit.

Directed by David Frankel, son of famed New York Times editor Max Frankel, the sequel picks up with Andy as an award-winning reporter who lands back at Runway after she and many others are suddenly laid off from a New York newspaper.

Now the magazine’s features editor, Andy, struggles to create “worthwhile” journalism as a revolving door of media executives demand more page views, more exclusives, more ad dollars, and more social content.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters May 1.
